Israel’s Best Puppet Shamed 89

The most reliable Israeli mouthpiece in the House of Commons, Dennis MacShane, has today resigned as an MP after stealing £20,000 in expenses. This was not a case of a doubtful claim – MacShane actually created, himself, 19 false invoices.

Why he has not been prosecuted and jailed is a question well worth discussion.

At the time that he stole that money, his long term partner was the journalist Joan Smith, who presumably also benefited from it. She wrote this astonishing article in the Guardian:

” I am sick of my country and this hysteria over MPs. People have been led to believe that we are governed by a corrupt political class. This is sanctimonious nonsense.”

Smith is of course a great expert in sanctimonious nonsense, and a leader of the New Labour war criminal movement in their attacks on Julian assange:

It was BICOM mouthpiece Denis MacShane who attacked Paul Flynn as “antisemitic” for querying the purpose of the long series of meetings between Matthew Gould, Adam Werritty and Liam Fox, some of which included Mossad. In doing so, MacShane did not mention his own role in setting up the first of those meetings, on 8 September 2009, and that he had been present at the start of that meeting. The FCO tried to hide that fact by deleting the entire diary entry for the meeting – but that very act prompted an old colleague to tell me.

This is a clear case of embezlement of public money no different in essence to tax evasion or benefit fraud.

Why aren’t the media speaking about this in that context?

Tony Blair at UCL – no comeback for the war criminal

Tony Blair is back in town on the speaking circuit, this time helping to launch a new department at University College London. In a further attempt to extricate himself from the illegal invasion of Iraq – which resulted in hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties – Blair is now billed to speak as an expert on the ‘difficult issues facing markets and economies’ and perhaps most bizarrely one of the most ‘popular politicians in recent times’.

A letter signed by John Pilger, Tony Benn and academics at London universities, including at UCL, has been sent to college management which criticises what is perceived as an endorsement ‘of Mr Blair [who] took our country to war against Iraq in flagrant violation of the UN Charter and in doing so committed the international crime of aggression.’

    Take action

MacShane usually sat next to Louise Ellman at the end of one of the green benches. Her son Sean was arrested in 2010 for trading in ‘legal highs’ (originally sold as plant food) without informing purchasers of the risks to health. Then he was given an ASBO. In August this year, he failed to attend a court hearing because he was on holiday! and the hearing was adjourned until September. Then a judge decided that the case would be heard in a magistrates’ court and not a crown court as the prosecution asked. The next hearing takes place this month.

‘Alan Conroy, prosecuting, said: “This law has not been used very widely.”

He argued that the trial should be sent to crown court where the maximum punishment was two years in jail.

But Jonathan Kirk QC, defending Mr Ellman, said the “novelty” of the case was not enough on its own to merit it being sent to crown court.

He said the defence case was that the legislation the crown relied upon “does not impact upon this substance”, which was agreed to be a “legal high sold widely across the county”.

District Judge Nicholas Sanders said the case was suitable to be tried at the magistrates’ court where the maximum penalty was a fine.

He adjourned the case until 28 November for a two-day trial.’

Sean Ellman seems to have had the benefit of a good ‘brief’ and an understanding judge.

    Heartbreaking. Imagine if this happened to our home. And Hague was meeting Ehud Barak in London on the day before this demolition took place. {http://ukinindia.fco.gov.uk/en/news/?view=PressR&id=829937082}

If we still had universal jurisdiction, perhaps Barak could have been nabbed.

Beit Arabiya Demolished for the Sixth Time, ICAHD Names Those Responsible
    Thursday, November 1, 2012

Israeli authorities demolished Beit Arabiya (“Arabiya’s House”) early this morning (Thursday, November 1 2012) for the sixth consecutive time since 1998, following its recent reconstruction in July this year, in the aftermath of its fifth demolition in January 2012. ICAHD names Israeli duty-bearers as personally responsible for policies and practices that may constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.

KingFelix If you meant that STWC petition about Bliar at UCL, it does not work for me either. I have told them. Thanks.

  • kingfelix

I am just reading Habermas as Mary posts the story on the house of Arabiya, and it fits perfectly with his distinction between the ‘lifeworld’ which centres on the social integration of individuals, of which a family and its home are a powerful symbol, and, in opposition to this, the ‘system’ which provides systemic integration, and is steered by power and money to pursue pre-determined ends.

It’s pretty obvious that the repeated demolition is to demonstrate the inflexible superiority of the system over the lifeworld of the Palestinians. What makes it more sickening to me is that Jewish culture prides itself so much on the nurturance of its own lifeworld throughout millennia of repression.

You can tell who people like this work for because they never get prosecuted for their crimes, even when caught red handed.

These people need to be thoroughly dis-honoured by society. Shop keepers should refuse their custom, restaurants should turn them away. If you see them on the street insult them – tell the world they are corrupt thieves who steal from the sick and the elderly. Absolute vultures. Unfortunately the commons is stuffed to the gills with these kind of people.

Polly Toynbee in the Guardian on Thursday after the EU budget vote.

‘But the state of national opinion bears witness to their lack of any attempt to make the pro-Europe case – except for the tireless former Europe minister Denis MacShane.’

Tireless at falsifying expenses too presumably?

Anthony (Charles Lynton) Blair was recruited by the CIA at Oxford. East meat due to his toilet habits. But there will come a time when such devils will be given a lie detector test followed by waterboarding and a confessing up to the truth,, all broadcast live on the net. Anonymous cloud satellite uptake and private “truth funders” are getting there.

Great reminder of the continuing struggle in Jerusalem, Mary, thanks.
As to Nick Griffins unthankfull behaviour towards Israel’s kind invitations of the past and their common goals declared, how could he possibly agree to have this ‘outing’ of, no doubt, quiet regular practises by MP’s?

This will not be good for the relations of the BNP with Israel, they don’t like to loose MP’s they have paid for for years.

Or is this a sign that Griffin was undermined by close cronies gunning for his party leadership, that this revelations actually confirms a split in the BNP which has had abysmal results and is leaking membership badly.
I would not be surprised if he did not approve of Mac Shane’s outing and would have rather taken the shekels as they come.

I think that MP’s who deliberately defraud the taxpayer should loose their pension rights. All seats that are subjected to by elections should not occur any costs from the taxpayers, these seats should be filled by a randomly selected representative, drawn from the national insurance numbers within that constituency. The those chosen have a right to refuse, in which case another draw is taken instantly without extra costs. The constituency is almost guaranteed to have a ‘normal’ person in the job, someone who is inexperienced but who is not a party hack or corrupted by the actualities of their job. at no cost whatsoever and far more democratic as what we got now.

This should be forwarded as a private members bill.

The Stop the war ‘coalition’ s website had problems earlier, now I have changed my mind.
STWC seems to lack the coalition bit, were is Caroline Lucas signature, what of the coalescing of late? If the ex swp members find it difficult to align them selves with anybody else but socialists, should they still call themselves a coalition?

How about outing all those Labour MP’s who supported the Iraq war and most likely will support an attack on Syria/Iran? a little proactive attention and more coalition please.

Although a multi-millionaire, Levy only paid £5,000 in tax in 1998-9 and less than £10,000 in 1997-8 as he said he wasn’t working. He runs a private company called Wireart, an investment company which was based in an oversea tax haven until 1997. Wireart paid him £160,000 (plus £50,000 expenses) for work as a management consultant in 1998-9 at the time he wasn’t working. Levy claimed that he was living off his savings and that the £160,000 was the part repayment of a loan, however this story changed when an aide divulged that he had worked as a management consultant. His expenses also included £31,000 in mileage, ‘which equates to travelling up to 85,000 miles in the year, the equivalent of driving from London to Bristol and back every day.’ [8] Levy tried to obtain a ‘gagging order’ to stop his tax affairs from coming to light. This failed when the High Court ruled in favour of the Sunday Times. Levy’s tax bill for the 1998/99 financial year saw him paying the Inland Revenue the same as someone earning the national average salary of Pounds 21,000. [9]) Where’s your MacShane now?

The Israeli Zionists are now claiming Churchill as one of their own, by means of a statue funded by the Jerusalem Foundation. Look them up on Wikipedia.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/sir-winston-churchill-zionist-hero-8277918.html

Left out from the article is the fact that over 700 members of the British military were killed by Zionists, the same army that helped free the the Jews – those remaining from the holocaust of 12 million. Also omitted is the Kastner factor re Hungarian jews. A Hungarian rabbi had inveigled Kastner into sending 800,000 Jews westwards to the Nazis as long as 25,000 healthy and fit Jews were sent to Palestine. A play on this by Jim Gray called Perfidy was closed on its first night (these people always strong on free speech). Kastner was shot in a Tel Aviv street during trial ?1952. And crucial is the fact that in 1900 there were only 3,000 jews in Palestine.

Stayed tuned for some horrible revelations about British Muslims.

Have you read The Guardian editorial on MacShane? It took my breath away! Yeah, it slaps him down at the end, briefly, but that’s after several paragraphs of gonad gargling. I know MacShane has someone who joined in with the stupid attacks on Tariq Ramadan, and was a major figure in promoting the brainless notion that ‘Islamism’ (= any Muslim that isn’t a Sufi Blair-loving Zionist liberal) is a potential terrorist. Few Muslims I know will be sad to see him go, that much I do know.

  • Karel

Komodo, you are right on that one. Fools vote other fools and even those fools who promote policies that may bring ruin to the voter. I have never understood how anyone, not yet a millionaire, can vote the Tories.

That scout of Israel was probably totally unaware of being a scoundrel. It is no secret that the foundation of Israel is based on colossal theft that still goes on. Once you associate with ruling thieves of that hellish state you quickly become a thief yourself unless you are one already.

Craig Murray “Rusbridger is a catamite for all the war criminals (in a metaphorical sense)”

I thought the guardian was sound, which newspaper can be trusted to tell the truth.

I watched some videos by David Irving, I learnt a lot about the real churchill, he was a zionist shill just like the leaders of today.

  • larry Levin

You always try and think the best of someone, but supporting Israel is a way to get on in parliament and get cover for paedophilia and other crimes you may have committed it would be interesting to know how the non friends of Israel are treated in the press compared to the shills and traitors. We should re-introduce the treason law “giving aid and comfort” to any foreign power.

It really is a tiresome position to blame the voters for the quality of MPs. If there was perfect transparency with regards to the conduct of prospective MP’s available to the public, your criticism may have more merit.

Equally, there are the class of Special Advisors and others appointed to the PM who it is simply not possible to expel from involvement at the heart of government. Nobody ever cast a vote for Alastair Campbell, Andy Coulson, Lord Ashcroft, Rupert Murdoch, etc, and all have had/continue to have a dire impact on the nation.

Let me ask another question – who selects these people to stand for election? The parties select them. The people working inside the party machine have access to more and better quality information regarding these people. It’s fair enough to say that the public might act as a final bulwark against scoundrels winning office, but if the parties wanted to, they could clean things up with different procedures.

Another measure which, ideally, could be introduced, would be to eject from office those convicted of a criminal offence or significant wrongdoing, with a bar on re-entry to the Commons or Lords via any route. Again, it is not the public’s fault that such measures can’t be implemented, as MP’s write their own rules regarding their conduct and the consequences thereof.

Anyway, I am not picking a fight with you, just pointing out there are more causes at work than simply the voters being stupid.

  • nevermind

Give us one good reason why a politically inept public, fed BS at every election, with a fraudulent voting system, should be trusting these party politicians, Kingfelix.

Why should they not demand an end to elections as they exist? Any random selection would offer better protection from corruption and party political gerrymandering than what we have got at present.

Its the public telling is as it is, by voting with their feet on the couch, not bothered, giving this professional scum the right to claim a mandate on a minority outcome.

The BBC has helped to perpetuate this rancid process, by non coverage, excessive campaigning for the three main parties, spurious reasons for their failure to give air to Independents.

That said, it will not deter me from trying once more next May, who knows by then the public might be so fed up with party politicians, their fraud, their connivance and their connections to foreign services who seek to undermine the resolve of British Foreign policy, against that of our obligation vis a vis Europe.

yesterdays announcement that our RAF is virtually on a war footing with not a word uttered in Parliament is telling indeed. Our party politicians are out of control, regardless of whom they belong to.

    Yaquub, at 3:55pm on 3.11.12:

    “gonad gargling”

Whatever turns you on, man, whatever turns you on.

Yep, I agree with you that MacShane was/is indeed a thoroughly and strategically bad man. In fact, his positions reminded me a little of those of Con Coughlin, who, it has been alleged, may be (one of) the SIS’s embedded journalists with the Daily Telegraph. I think such people tend to sing different verses from the same hymn-sheet. I’d like someone to begin to explore such purported links in more detail, to burrow. They of course would be taking the risk of ending up satsuma gargling like Stephen Milligan.
