Let’s Chat 8.30pm Tonight 403

At 8.30pm tonight I am going to have a streamed live chat with Independence Live, on various subjects including of course Scottish Independence. It is interesting because they are setting it up using Blab, a programme which enables you to appear and join in the conversation. This is experimental for me. I believe that you may need a twitter account to sign in to blab and join in, but that you should be able just to watch on the Independence Live website without signing in. I am investigating if it will be possible to stream it on this site as well.

If we like the technology, I might use it to host a series of chats on this site, where I sit down with a whisky in hand and ruminate, and you can pop up and join in.

Join the Blab!
This is a livestream, Blab interview. If you would like to jump on and join the panel then follow the link below. You will need your Twitter login details to join panel, or you can just observe. https://blab.im/independence-live-craig-murray-interview

    Mr Goss

I thought that was Knud? Bot perhaps the name was spelled differently then.

Our Transatlantic historian Friend to confirm?

  • Habbabkuk (la vita è bella)

Just shows how perceptions vary on this blog. For Fuji-San I’m a King, for “RobG” I’m vermin.

(Cue to someone: Kings ARE vermin)

  • John Goss

Habba, I wouldn’t get the impression Brian is bigging you up for monarchy. This seems to be a word I suspect Brian dyslexically struggles with. But in his mind I am sure he has a clear impression of what he means. 😀

I don’t think Craig knows anyone called Peter Forde.

But he might know a Peter Ford.

  • fedup

Ex-Ambassador Peter Forde will not be invited to Buck House to receive his gong. One must not reveal the truth to the sleeple as Craig very well knows.

    Don’t be so misanthropic; sheeple!

    Let’s get a couple of facts out of the way;
In the West (US,UK, et al) sex education is mandatory studies even for the primary school pupils, but politics is left for the bicycle shed (craps we don’t have them any more) or for the oligarch owned media to “educate” and “inform” these future people.

The very fragmented and whimsical nature of the “news” delivery that feeds “bitsof”, more often than not confuse and effectively drive away the people whom cannot make head or tail of the events, and heavily rely on the said oligarch owned media or the state propaganda organs to decipher the events they have been subjected to view.

Nothing is as exhilarating as invading the punters’ living room and telling them what they ought to be thinking!!!

Won’t you agree that instead of directing your ire at the “sheeple” it would serve our cause best if you reserve that ire for the “sheeple makers/framers/growers”?

Finally when the state propaganda organ aka bunkum bullshitter corporation brings you a glimpse of reality that is not common currency in the seamless echo chamber of the “current events” you best ask yourself why are they carrying this item?

The fact is everyone but their blind chiwawa by now knows that the Syrian war is lost for the West and there is no way in hell they are going to “win” this one for the Gipper too! Hence the hedging of the bets and sudden glimpses of reality for the benefit of remaining relevant in the future.

Yesterday the packages making their way of the Killis neighbourhood were clearly showing the Turkish town in the background!!! This means the “rebels” are a few days away from getting completely kicked out of the Syrian soil and their supply routes of illicit guns and ordnance closing once and for all.

Hence the invitation extended to Peter Ford to talk about the events. We know the track record of bunkum bullshitter corporation regards inviting Craig and then the last minute dis-inviting him and instead running with a Henry Jackson rent an “expert”!

I was laughing my head off this morning, as I noticed the “news 24” channel of bunkum bullshitter corporation is carrying a holiday program!!!!! Those propaganda merchants have worm themselves out and ran out of bunkum and bullshit and instead have opted for the “wish you were here” holiday format of programming!!!!!!!!! Now this is the kind of news that the you don’t hear of everyday!

    Hi rob
I think you will see that there are five paragraph in that last post. I was doing on my phone in a shoogly train so my syntax was under stress.
But fair enough comment I do love a paragraph free rant.

(Here is a space to help) I think you will find that I was saying that major events are almost certainly, partly at least, attributable to misjudgement and even malicious misjudgement at high levels of government and security services with egotistical, driven and hubristic people at high levels and who are accustomed their every judgement being followed. Many things are quite subtle. I was once introduced to a very high ranking Civil servant at an awards ceremony. He offered his hand like a fish palm downwards. I remember quite deliberately wrenching his hand round so mine was on top. I gave it a bloody good squeeze as well. I think his gesture was a signal of his mandarinosity and my plebosity. My counter -plebosity gave him a start.

I must acquire a pipe and rocking chair so that I can participate in an FDR-style fireside chat with Craig and Co!

Actually, it would be fun! What an excellent idea.

It would even more interesting if people did show their faces. And say things to one another’s faces.

  • Republicofscotland

Fred, I’d imagine those deluded imperial pompus fools, at Whitehall, and Westminster, and their royal masters, would love to reclaim the seas.

Alas Britannia, is now a decrepit old twisted bitch who can’t hold her trident and shield, nevermind reclaim any seas.

No the old hag (Britannia) now only rides on the coattails of those warmongering nations who can claim seas.

  • Republicofscotland

“I would advise everyone to take a look at these clumsy forgeries, and then say that people like Roberts (and me) are ‘conspiracy theorists’.”

    ______________

    RobG.

It wouldn’t matter Rob, if the photos should the event to be a staged event (of which I’m 100%) sure it was myself. No one but no one in here will take you seriously.

Especially not the establishment boys whose job it it is, is to denounce and poison the well.

Their remit is to ridicule you and convert not so sure viewers and commentors to do likewise. Some like Glenn UK can’t even make up their minds as to which side they’re on.

Just don’t overreact Rob to their taunts or ridicule, if you do they’ve won.

  • fred

“Fred, I’d imagine those deluded imperial pompus fools, at Whitehall, and Westminster, and their royal masters, would love to reclaim the seas.”

They are just some people out in Greece doing what they can for the children of refugees from war torn countries. Some might know one of them from Dune. If you want to help send a few quid if you can afford, politics and nationalism hasn’t anything to do with it.

  • Republicofscotland

“If you want to help send a few quid if you can afford, politics and nationalism hasn’t anything to do with it.”

    ____________

I never said it did Freddy boy, I merely saw the “reclaim the seas” wording and thought of how far and low the royal navy has fallen, in its desperate quest to be recognised as a world power at sea.

Indeed I’m led to recall the plastic jet sat on the hull of the aircraft carrier HMS Old Droopy chops, because no real planes exist, in the fleet that can land or take off from it.

As for your link it’s an admirable one, if its close to your heart Fred, (if you have one that is ?) then why not write a letter to that bumbling puppet buffoon Jean-Claude Junker detailing the plight of the Greeks.

Mind you the EU has already well and truly screwed the Greek people over debts owed.

  • Republicofscotland

“I must acquire a pipe and rocking chair so that I can participate in an FDR-style fireside chat with Craig and Co!”

    ________________

    Suhayl.

I picture you more as a Val Doonican type character, twitching uncomfortably on your rocking chair whilst admiring your plethora of multi-coloured cardigans and sweaters.

I do look forward to seeing you on Blab ?

  • Republicofscotland

“I leave it to readers to assess what sort of an advance that is, given that one of the reasons why so many refugees make it to the Greek islands is precisely because the Turks do very little intercepting in their own territorial waters (why should they, when there are already a couple of million refugees in Turkey).”

    ___________

    Habb.

It’s becoming patently obvious that Europe doesn’t want them. Unless of course there’s a shortage of cheap labour (which there isnt) we can pay them a pittence whilst screwing over the native workforce.

Those half baked idiots at the UN, should get their fingers out. They should sort out a stable treaty in Syria and help repatriate those affected.

Sounds too easy? Well it is that easy, but you have the US and its compliant minions, in the shape Britain France, Turkey and others holding the process up.

I say if the US which is far worse than North Korea on foreign policy anyway, won’t help sanction a solid peace treaty in Syria, then the US should take all the refugees.

I don’t have a mobile phone, so maybe I can’t appreciate those dense blocks of text that emerge from many posters thesedays.

Maybe someone can come up with a phone ap that allows for easy insertion of paragraph breaks?

Seriously, all the zillions of words we type here is all about communicating with other people (or trying to), and nothing hinders that more than a lack of paragraph breaks. Cue one…

I disagree with your ‘cock-up rather than conspiracy’ premise. Nothing happens in this world, at the political level, without a purpose.

“Mind you the EU has already well and truly screwed the Greek people over debts owed.

That’s what it would do to an ‘independent’ Scotland after its economy crashes and the price of oatcakes becomes unsustainable.

How fortunate you don’t live there, RoS.

    5 Mar, 2016 – 5:16 pm

I agree with what you’re saying. My problem is that I find it difficult to contain my anger about what’s going on in this world.

Maybe we should have a ‘Hug a Habba’ week? in which instead of being angry we heap love and praise on the government trolls and other assorted vermin, all of whom are part of the police state that’s being rolled out.

Hug a Habba week will end next Friday, which is the 5th anniversary of the start of the Fukushima disaster; which seems quite appropriate.

  • RobG

Oh, and in a wonderful piece of synchronicity (due to the extra day in February this year), the 11th March 2011, when the Fukushima disaster kicked-off, was also on a Friday.

Am I making this up? or is it a conspiracy?!

  • Tony_0pmoc

In a world that is becoming increasingly evil, there is one young man I know who is a complete saint.

He doesn’t just think about it – he does it.

    He moved to hell…

    The jungle in Calais…

and when they smashed the place to hell – he gets arrested and is in jail for 3 days – accused of being an anarchist

He is a voluntary unpaid Aid worker – you stupid fucking Froggy idiots.

I guess after spending 8 months in hell – over the winter – when the biggest need was blankets…A French Jail seemed warm.

    Tony

    Tony

  • Anon1

Are you sure he wasn’t throwing rocks at the police, Tony? Or handing out bolt-cutters to the migrants?

  • Tony_0pmoc

    Anon1,

Well, Time magazine wouldn’t have interviewed him months ago if he was – would they?

  • Clark

    Republicofscotland, 5:16 pm

“Some like Glenn UK can’t even make up their minds as to which side they’re on.”

And here is EXACTLY the problem I keep going on about. What is to be believed or disbelieved has become a matter of SIDES.

TRUTH is not a matter of SIDES.

  • Republicofscotland

“That’s what it would do to an ‘independent’ Scotland after its economy crashes and the price of oatcakes becomes unsustainable.”

    __________

Thankfully Anon1 oatcakes are a devolved issue so Westminster can’t make an arse of them, like they’ve done with oil, and just about everything else.

  • Clark

    RobG – 7:06 pm –

“Nothing happens in this world, at the political level, without a purpose”

Huh? What’s the purpose of climate change and consequent global overheating?
