Let’s Chat 8.30pm Tonight 403

At 8.30pm tonight I am going to have a streamed live chat with Independence Live, on various subjects including of course Scottish Independence. It is interesting because they are setting it up using Blab, a programme which enables you to appear and join in the conversation. This is experimental for me. I believe that you may need a twitter account to sign in to blab and join in, but that you should be able just to watch on the Independence Live website without signing in. I am investigating if it will be possible to stream it on this site as well.

If we like the technology, I might use it to host a series of chats on this site, where I sit down with a whisky in hand and ruminate, and you can pop up and join in.

Join the Blab!
This is a livestream, Blab interview. If you would like to jump on and join the panel then follow the link below. You will need your Twitter login details to join panel, or you can just observe. https://blab.im/independence-live-craig-murray-interview

Due, I think to the mass propaganda we have been subjected to since 9/11, some people have lost the basic understanding, of simply being nice to people.

And yet some people are still brilliant at it….

Now who due you think I am going to be on the side of…

The RAF guys – and yes we were kind of invited to the Wedding, but declined – Bombing These Coutries to hell – come on _ know your targets…You just do what you are told…you don’t even think about – the people below..

    Or Toby.

“And here is EXACTLY the problem I keep going on about. What is to be believed or disbelieved has become a matter of SIDES.

TRUTH is not a matter of SIDES.”

    _____________

Clarke tell that to the Chagossians, remember Clarke, the victors often write the truth to suit their cause the war in Iraq for example, which side was telling the truth there Clarke?

Or did the truth not matter there Clarke? Truth is always the first casualty.

It’s all about sides Clarke, it has been since the first two tribes fought over some asset all those years ago.

Are you so naive as to believe that governments and dictators around the world will simply not take sides, what do you think the USA have been doing for the last hundred odd years, Britain considerably longer.

Clarke sometimes your childlike innocence worries me.

You’re barking up the wrong tree there mate (no pun intended).

Pakistan is in my opinion a religiously fanatical medieval warring state, where anything goes.

Anyone who even looks at the Koran the wrong way, will be either arrested or beaten due to the blasphemy laws.

To think they posses nukes is truly frightening.

  • Clark

Republicofscotland, Truth is correspondence with reality. Lying is lying no matter which side does it.

Or are you one of these people that claims there is no such thing as reality, that all there are are various opinions?

  • Republicofscotland

“Maybe we should have a ‘Hug a Habba’ week?”

    _______________

Erm….. Rob with Habb’s popularity in here or lack of it, I’d expect a better response from “Hug a Turd” week. ?

  • Clark

Republicofscotland, what you were saying was that Glenn has to say that the Sandy Hook massacre was faked, for to say otherwise is to be on the wrong side, yes?

  • RobG

    ‘At the political level’, Clark.

Very few argue about climate change. It’s happening. The only arguement is whether it’s caused by human activities.

  • Tony_0pmoc

He is also an incredibly intelligent and eloquent single young man. I don’t think he has met my daughter yet – but he might have…he is just a few years older…

Time for another party, I think.

The French deported him – which I think is quite an Accolade for a young English man…He is now safe and back at home with his Mum and Son.

    Tony

  • Clark

RobG, there’s no serious doubt that human activities are causing climate change. What is the purpose at the political level in failing to halt greenhouse gas emissions?

  • Republicofscotland

“Or are you one of these people that claims there is no such thing as reality, that all there are are various opinions?”

Clarke reality is a million miles away from your noble truth and lying concept.

Countries around the globe have been picking sides for centuries, and the truth valid or not is completely irrelevant.

In the real world Clarke, truth can be hidden or twisted or misdirected it can be closed in a file for 30 years or it can have a D notice thrown over it.

As I said Clarke your black and white view of the world worries me, it simply doesn’t exist.

  • Clark

RobG, OK, let’s take your pet subject instead. There’s no serious doubt that radioactive pollution is causing cancer rates to soar. What is the political purpose in failing to decommission nuclear power reactors?

  • RobG

Republicofscotland, so it looks like my ‘Hug a Habby’ week will be a lone crusade. Nevertheless, next time the Habby posts I will put my arms around it and give it a big slobbering kiss. If it’s female I might even shag it.

C’mon folks, Hug a Habby, if only for the next 7 days.

    Trolls need love, too.

  • Republicofscotland

“Republicofscotland, what you were saying was that Glenn has to say that the Sandy Hook massacre was faked, for to say otherwise is to be on the wrong side, yes?”

    ___________

    Clarke.

No not at all Clarke, Glenn’s a big boy he can make his own mind up. However Clarke there’s two lines of thinking going on in here, in certain threads. Clarke one’s establishment the other open, the establishment side almost always derides or ridicules the open side, if the comments are voing a certain way.

The open side however continues to persevere, regardless, but Clarke reading your thoughts on truth you probably haven’t even noticed yet.

  • Clark

So. Silence from RobG and RoS.

    Liars.

So presumably you both believe in making stuff up, or bending facts, to suit your chosen agenda. You claim moral equivalence with propagandists.

So what happens when different activists each decide that a different lie is more advantageous to the chosen cause? Presumably it comes down to who has the loudest voice, or the biggest stick, or the most nuclear bombs.

I prefer to surrender to a higher principle, namely, truth.

  • Republicofscotland

“Republicofscotland, please state clearly – do you believe honesty to be an irrelevance?”

    ______________

Clarke, not on a personal level, however on a national level it can be irrelevant.

If all governments around the world suddenly decided to be honest as you put it that would be great.

But back in the real world Clarke on a national and international level its more often than not just a six letter word.

Tell me Clarke do you think China and America will abide by the emmissions rules? By cutting back on their productions.

  • Clark

“Open”. In other words, believe whatever you like. Propagate whatever version of events you choose.

The other night, RobG was LYING that posting links exposes the commenter’s IP address. In an attempt to support this LIE, RobG looked up my ISP from the IP address of a comment I’d previously posted at his blog. The then tried to PALM THE PUBLIC OFF with this information as if he’d just discovered it, to support the LIE he’d just told.

This is the bloke who says that people like me will be put on trial and then shot for being vermin. So that’ll be a SHOW TRIAL then, one where the verdict is decided by prejudice without reference to facts.

And you lot think you’ve the moral authority to criticise Habbabkuk?

News for you, RESPECT has to be EARNED.

  • RobG

Clark, as a rule I never give links to my own blog; but since I’m the only one who seems to cover these matters, please take a look at this…

    http://www.spiderbomb.com/blog/?p=2576

It’s not conspiracy theory or conjecture, it’s actual clips from a Congressional hearing recorded by C-Span.

    The corruption is absolutely breathtaking.

And we’re talking about nuclear matters here.

  • Clark

Why be ordinary?, 9:29 pm> thanks. Further down the page you linked…

Mikhail Bulgakov fictionally expands on the relationship between Pilate and Jesus in his novel Master and Margarita. Specific reference to John 18:38 comes in Chapter 2 of the novel entitled “Pontius Pilate”, in which he asks the very question “What is truth?” to Jesus

I’m currently reading Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita. Craig’s son Jamie lent it to me in December. The chapter adapted from the Biblical accounts of Jesus’ before Pilate is utterly haunting.

I will not call myself a Christian because I reject the supernatural and do not regard whoever Jesus was as “Christ”, which means “saviour” – it looks unlikely that anyone or thing will be saved. However, that story of a man who abandoned material wealth, healed the sick and refused to appease corrupt authority is extremely powerful.

  • RobG

Come on Habba, I want to give you a hug; at least until next Friday, when I’ll start loading up the shotgun.

  • Republicofscotland

“Open”. In other words, believe whatever you like. Propagate whatever version of events you choose.”

“And you lot think you’ve the moral authority to criticise Habbabkuk?”

“News for you, RESPECT has to be EARNED.”
    ______________

Open Clarke, open to other interpretations of events, and not to just blindly swallow the official narrative. Im not saying all events are questionable.

Tell me Clarke whose respect needs to be earned? Do you mean Habbs respect?

So Clarke you still haven’t answered my question on China and the USA regarding ommissions.

  • Clark

RobG, you haven’t earned my respect yet. Reverse IP lookup is no doubt well documented on Wikipedia.

You can earn respect by retracting your lies and apologising for them.

  • Clark

Republicofscotland, since you acknowledge no higher principle, how to answer any of your questions is a matter of guessing what your ego desires and pandering to it. This I am not prepared to lower myself to.

  • Clark

RobG, same goes for you. Since you acknowledge no higher principle, your talk of trials and executions merely displays your desire for senseless murder.

  • Republicofscotland

“Republicofscotland, since you acknowledge no higher principle, how to answer any of your questions is a matter of guessing what your ego desires and pandering to it. This I am not prepared to lower myself to.”

    _________________

Clarke ego doesn’t even come into the equation, I have no ego, to pander too. I simply acknowledge human nature Clarke.

I asked you a simple question of whether or not you believe that the USA and China will adhere to reducing emissions? A simple yes or no will suffice.

  • RobG

Clark said: “RobG, same goes for you. Since you acknowledge no higher principle, your talk of trials and executions merely displays your desire for senseless murder.”

Oh, please, upwards of 500,000 people have been slaughtered in just Iraq.

    You people are completely mad.

The people who are responsible for this mass slaughter have to be brought to trial.

That’s what people like me say.
