Werritty’s Chum Gould Cheers on Gaza Genocide 103

Where is the British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould, who has put so much effort into promoting himself as a self-proclaimed “Jewish Zionist”? What has he to say while the people in Gaza are being massacred even as they shelter in UN facilities?

Well two days ago he was attending the swearing in of new Israeli President Rivlin, together with a British delegation of weird right wing folk, including Baroness Pauline Neville Jones, favourite “security expert” of the BBC, Stuart Polak of Conservative Friends of Israel, and New Labour public school and Oxford right winger Paul Spellar.

But surely the British Ambassador to Israel has spoken out in public about the terrible carnage in Gaza?

He most certainly has. Gould has reflected the massive indignation of the British people by stating that:

“This was a conflict triggered by Hamas raining down on Israel hundreds and hundreds of rockets fired indiscriminately at Israeli towns and cities. Israel has a right and even an obligation to defend it citizens.”

Gould paid a pro-Israeli propaganda visit to Sderot, the Israeli chosen destination for media reports about Hamas rocket attacks, and the place where Israelis hold parties to watch people being blown apart in Gaza. Gould spoke of having to take his own family into the bomb shelter in Tel Aviv when sirens sounded from Hamas attacks.

Matthew Gould was a long term collaborator of Adam Werritty, having held meetings with him over a decade in Tehran, Washington, Israel and London, at most but not all of which Liam Fox was also present. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office refuse to list these meetings or say who was present and what was discussed, even though Gould met Werritty including when Gould was Private Secretary to both David Miliband and William Hague.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in stating that what is happening in Gaza is a part of a continuing process of deliberate genocide of the Palestinian people by the Israelis. When I have previously stated this, some commenters have taken issue with the word genocide. I see no other word that fits.

This chilling article by Martin Sherman, Head of the Israeli Institute of Strategic Studies, calling for Gaza to be ethnically cleansed of all Palestinians, should open the eyes of some of those who refuse to see that Israel is no longer a morally defensible entity. The 3,600 Facebook shares of this evil are evidence of how the madness of fascism has overtaken the citizens of Israel.

This banner on Herzl Boulevard expresses what has become the catchphrase for the extermination of Palestinians “There are no innocents in Gaza“. This justification of the extermination even of women and children should evoke parallels for Jewish people which are too obvious for me to emphasise. Yet this extraordinary slogan, justifying genocide, is supported and repeated by huge sectors of the Israeli populace.

I wonder how long it will be before we hear it from Matthew Gould?

The trouble is that genocidal sentiments are made the other way too, by the likes of Hamas and Iran. Everyone would like to see a peaceful settlement, but one-way selective outrage won’t get the job done.

“srael is targeting journalists in the Gaza Strip like it did during its last two major attacks on the 1.8 million Palestinians there.

Since the current assault began on 7 July, Israel has killed at least seven Palestinian journalists and media workers and directly struck at least four media offices. The latest journalist to be killed, Rami Rayyan, was reporting on families going to the market during what they thought was a four-hour ceasefire on Wednesday afternoon when Israel shelled the Shujaiya market.

The Electronic Intifada spoke with journalist Yousef Al-Helou just after the attack.

“Journalists say it is an Israeli attempt to silence the truth,” Al-Helou said. “But Palestinian journalists are determined to continue their work because they say that it is their duty to expose Israeli actions in Gaza that amount to war crimes.” (Listen to the full interview with Yousef Al-Helou via the audio player at the top of this page.

Shir Hever, from Jerusalem, on the Masters of War:

How the recurring slaughter of Palestinians is a trade fair for US/Israeli weapons manufacturers.

“See these weapons. Tested. Very successful in Gaza”

    Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build all the bombs
    You that hide behind walls
    You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks.

Pull the other one, this one has bells on, that is why Iran has the highest Jewish population outside of zionistan. How ill informed do you take us to be?

The only entity boasting nuclear and thermonuclear weapons numbering around four hundred along with the delivery vehicles; nuclear capable bombers, missile, ships and submarines, providing the nuclear reach beyond the total destruction of zionstan is zionistan.

The only entity evidently “democratically” because 94 percent of population wish so, to engage in genocide is zionistan.

No cigars for the feeble sound bite injection.

    Who are the Israelis?

Came upon this on Medialens. Very important in understanding the difference between Israeli born Jews and those born outside:

“Staring at these people on the face, and more during times of war, is scary. Faces of people that feel nauseous when they hear the words “human rights”. For them human rights are anti-Semite – them who are the first anti-Semites in the world, who mock those who do not live in Israel, considering them half-human. They are the ones using the history of Jewish People to kill. And all to create a flat country, lacking creativity, humanism, literature, imagination. They have created a country in which military men are cultural heroes. A country in which women, to receive equal rights, become and imitate men. Their inner world denies the imagination of a peaceful territory, in which life, creation, and happiness replace the erotism of violence.”

    Very like Gilad Atzmon’s work:

Coincidence there Herbie. I just sent it round to a group of like minded friends.

An open letter from Jerusalem – Uriel Kon

Do not get confused anyone visiting Tel Aviv – mini-shorts central, a
place of American pop and multi-sexuality. Underneath the manicured
grass, of people walking dogs or skating, behind the petty local
literature – a literature of infantilism and daily dramas. Behind the
posh boutiques and the corporate or artistic world creeps a
warmongering perversity, a sanctification of ones’ and others’
death. There is cult of the eternal conquest and oppression.

And yet all these words, all these adjectives, were intended as a
request, to my Jewish friends, to those who – like me – grew up inside
the Jewish communities of Latin America, with that after-taste of
Yiddish leftism, with a certain joy in living surrounded by different
human beings, seduced by diversity: the time has arrived to separate
ourselves from Israel, to separate Judaism from the doctrine of this
ill-fated country. Against what we have learned in school, zionism is
racism. The prototype of the Aryan-Israeli failed, and like during the
last weeks of nazism during the war, they want to eradicate us all,
they want to blow up all the bridges. They want to die in their
auto-hatred and their erotic passion for war.

Uriel with his open mind and humanity in his heart will be called a self-hating Jew (like Gilad Atzmon) and is probably getting a rough ride at the moment.

    The Children of Gaza

    Don’t mention the children.

    Don’t name the dead children.

The people must not know the names

    of the dead children.

The names of the children must be hidden.

    The children must be nameless.

The children must leave this world

    having no names.

No one must know the names of

    the dead children.

No one must say the names of the

    dead children.

No one must even think that the children

    have names.

People must understand that it would be dangerous

to know the names of the children.

The people must be protected from

knowing the names of the children.

The names of the children could spread

    like wildfire.

The people would not be safe if they knew

    the names of the children.

    Don’t name the dead children.

    Don’t remember the dead children.

Don’t think of the dead children.

    Don’t say: ‘dead children’.

Mike Rosen is a Jewish writer from North London, who was recently Britain’s official Children’s Poet Laureate. He read this poem at last Saturday’s 100,000-strong Gaza solidarity demonstration in London.

I think the FBI agrees with that characterization, Mary.

“In general, psychopaths are glib and charming, and they use these attributes to manipulate others into trusting and believing in them. This may lead to people giving them money, voting them into office, or, possibly, being murdered by them. Because of their interpersonal prowess, most psychopaths can present themselves favorably on a first impression, and many function successfully in society.”

Genocidal sentiment is one thing GrassyArse, carrying out genocide (as Israel does) is another.

A decent piece here by Peter Beinart…may he find the light.

“Let’s take the claims in turn….

    Israel Left Gaza

It’s true that in 2005, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon withdrew Israel’s more than 8,000 settlers from Gaza. (At America’s urging, he also dismantled four small settlements in the West Bank). But at no point did Gaza become its own country. Had Gaza become its own country, it would have gained control over its borders. It never did. As the Israeli human rights group Gisha has detailed, even before the election of Hamas, Israel controlled whether Gazans could enter or exit the Strip (In conjunction with Egypt, which controlled the Rafah checkpoint in Gaza’s south). Israel controlled the population registry through which Gazans were issued identification cards. Upon evacuating its settlers and soldiers from Gaza, Israel even created a security perimeter inside the Strip from which Gazans were barred from entry. (Unfortunately for Gazans, this perimeter included some of the Strip’s best farmland).
“Pro-Israel” commentators claim Israel had legitimate security reasons for all this. But that concedes the point. A necessary occupation is still an occupation. That’s why it’s silly to analogize Hamas’ rockets—repugnant as they are—to Mexico or Canada attacking the United States. The United States is not occupying Mexico or Canada. Israel — according to the United States government — has been occupying Gaza without interruption since 1967.

  • nevermind, it will happen anyway

Indeed Brian Fujisan, he is the active arm of Knesset Parliamentarian Ms Shaked, who openly called for children and their mothers to be killed.

There is a huge pile of steam building up in people’s minds, and nobody can tap it anymore.
I don’t think that this will stop until they have sent half of the Palestinian population into a massive holding camp. Thanks to Egypts help this Endloesung, the end of Gaza concentration camp, to give it its rightfull name, will then become the concern of international organisations.

What Mira Bir Hilell wrote in the Independent last Sat., of the Angst, the fear and loathing that is used to shush and silence those in the jewish community who feel uncomfortable, who fear that the actions of a zionist Israel will get back to them personally, experiences tell, this fear and loathing at poiont of desperation, is seemingly a world wide phenomena to control the diaspora.

But, is it just the diaspora? How much control do the various lobbyists and favour seeking organisations such as BICOM and the FoI, holding large memberships within political parties, already have?

How much influence when you can dispatch politicians at will and replace them with a clone? Was this cabinet decided by Cameron alone, who’s made the defence decision for him?, what about the Foreign office? Such utter silence in our politicians who all want to get re-elected, when confronted with such evil, leaves a vacuum, limbo time for thoughts.

  • craig Post author

Indeed they may. And if the Foreign Office would openly admit how often he met Matthew Gould, who else was there and what they discussed, we might better judge that. If it was nothing, why the secrecy?

“Here’s a hugely significant story that I suspect will get almost no play outside Palestinian solidarity sites. Mickey Rosenfeld, the Israeli police spokesman, has told BBC reporter Jon Donnison that there are no grounds for believing Hamas ordered the abduction of three Israeli teens on June 12. Rather, the police say, it was carried out by a rogue cell from Hebron with a loose political affiliation to Hamas.”

“It was those abductions, and Israel’s response in blaming Hamas and rounding up and jailing hundreds of its activists in the West Bank, that triggered Hamas rocket fire that in turn was used by Israel to justify its attack on Gaza, which is currently killing hundreds of civilians.”

“Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, stated at the time that he had cast-iron evidence that Hamas was behind the abductions and the movement would pay a “heavy price”. He never produced that evidence. But now Israel’s police force itself concedes that Hamas was not involved.”

  • Macky

    Thank you Mary for the Mike Rosen poem; here’s another one he wrote at the time of the mass murdering spree called “Cast Lead”;

    In Gaza, children,
you learn that the sky kills
    and that houses hurt.
You learn that your blanket is smoke
    and breakfast is dirt.

You learn that cars do somersaults
    clothes turn red,
    friends become statues,
    bakers don’t sell bread.

You learn that the night is a gun,
    that toys burn
    breath can stop,
    it could be your turn.

    You learn:
    if they send you fire
    they couldn’t guess:
not just the soldier dies –
    it’s you and the rest.

    Nowhere to run,
    nowhere to go,
    nowhere to hide
    in the home you know.

    You learn
    that death isn’t life,
    that air isn’t bread,
    the land is for all.
You have the right to be
    Not Dead.
You have the right to be
    Not Dead.
You have the right to be
    Not Dead.
