Hillary Clinton IS The Guardian 982

Hillary Clinton is American, owned by financial interests to whom she is completely in thrall, a rabid neo-conservative warmonger, completely uncritical of Israel and focused for any claim to be progressive entirely on identity politics. Which is also a precise description of today’s Guardian newspaper. The once august and intellectual title is now a shrill cheerleader for far right Blairites and wealthy American feminists.

The Guardian is as unabashed in its support for Clinton as in its support for the Blairites. The stream of “feminist” articles about why it would advance the cause of women to have a deeply corrupt right winger in the White House is steadily growing into a torrent. It is a perfect example of what I wrote of a month ago, the cause of feminism being hijacked to neo-conservative ends.

Bernie Sanders is not perfect – nobody is. But he understands that obscene and still burgeoning wealth inequality is the greatest problem of western society, and that the state framework supporting crazed banking structures is the root cause of this. The support for him is a sign of the inevitable popular reaction to the extreme inequality of society. Sanders is channelling that reaction effectively.

The establishment therefore circles its wagons around Hillary Clinton. The hope is that women can be persuaded it is an act of misogyny simply to stand in her way. The other great establishment hope is that the Democrat party machinery is so strong in black communities, that black Americans can be in effect ordered to vote for a woman who epitomises the system which disadvantages them, rather than an apostle of genuine change in the economic order. I retain hope the establishment may find that black Americans are cleverer than that.

The machinery used to manipulate identity politics – racial and gender – is all that Clinton has. If Clinton beats Sanders, it will be the perfect demonstration of the fact that identity politics has become the enemy of progress in society.

In the field of identity, Bernie Sanders would be the first non-Christian President of the United States. Would that not be wonderful in a country whose politicians feel the need to genuflect to swarms of religious evolution-denying nutters who believe foreign wars are good because they presage the Rapture?

And would it not be great if the first President since Carter not in thrall to Israel were Jewish?

I recall a commentor issuing you with a veiled threat you immediately made the mods aware of it. You do understand that it sometimes helps, to have a taste of your own medicine, every now and then.”

The only threats I recall were from Nevermind, who a couple of tiles threatened to punch me in the nose if he ever met up with me. Hardly very veiled, I’d say.

And there was of course also “RobG”, who announced a couple of times that he knew who I was and would “expose me”. Well, I wouldn’t really call that a threat and, needless to say, he hasn’t yet made good. 🙂

“Eisenkot knows that his army is now sowing hatred the likes of which hasn’t been known in the occupied territories. But it’s doubtful if he knows what damage he’s bequeathing to a new generation of Israelis. Never have there been such pictures of girls dying on the road, with nobody approaching them. Never have there been such videos like the one disseminated this week. It shows Border Policemen in Hebron, who have fatally wounded another young girl wielding a knife. As she lies bleeding, with nobody coming to her aid, the policemen are busy pushing back the agitated residents, with typical brutality and violence. At the height of the ghastly scene one of the Border Police thugs overturns a wheelchair, throwing a helpless disabled man onto the road.

Even this stomach–turning event did not shake Israel. Maj. Gen. Eisenkot, the man who was praised, is directly and wholly responsible for it. The day he decided to allow unrestricted shooting he created this horror, and the horrors that will follow.

It’s a combination of a deplorable military response, which should have triggered shame in the IDF – the army has never fought against an enemy as helpless as those knife children – and immeasurable moral deterioration. The kind, much lauded Golani veteran is responsible for all this.

In Israel, nobody will hold him accountable. He will be remembered as a war hero, whose army fought bravely against the little knife-girl from Askar refugee camp and the woman from Silwad who tried to ram her car into Border Policemen. Maybe one day in The Hague they’ll think otherwise.”

There is of course a long tradition of Polish-Hungarian friendship and the treatment of the Polish internees (both mimitary and civilian)in Hungary end 1939-beginning 1940 illustrates this very well.

Tribute should also be paid to the Swiss authorities, which allowed the 2nd Polish Fusilier Division (2 Dywizja Strzelcow Pieszych), consisting of around 12.000 officers and other ranks, to cross the River Doubs into neutral Switzerland in the night of 19-20 June 1940. They were well treated during the several years of their internment.

Ot is sahe few that chose to return to Poland after the war mostly disappeared.

    Brian,

That certain elements of the Israeli defence force are acting worse than sections of the SS in NAZIS occupied Europe – as witnessed by this dreadful event, I find it deplorable that those who believe in international justice are being systematically vilified, censored and criminalised by numerous Western Governments.

One has no idea why this should be, I’m aware how they criminalised volunteers going to Spain to fight fascism in the Spanish Republican war, but they did not stoop as low as criminalising dissent against Franco and his notorious henchmen and murders.

Has the West no shame, has the West no level of evil it will not sink to in its support of racists, murders and pure evil in that tiny, shitty piece of land in the Middle East. Many who have studied the crusades were horrified by the barbarism of the Christians towards Jews and Muslims has they made their murderous way to the Holy Land.

What God, what God I ask you would sanction this, would openly encourage it and criminalise those who desire an end to such brutality.

I’m ashamed I used to once be pro-Israeli and no amount of referring to the brutality of the Holocaust can be used to disguise this disgrace, this stain and the human character. They are bloody worse than the hand choppers, worse than Hitler’s SS and an absolute insult to humanism and what it means to be human and humane.

If my support for the Palestine and the injustices perpetuated against it on a daily basis makes me a terrorist and anti-semite, then so be it, but in all honesty we cannot sit back and allow this happen in what effectively is a concentration camp on Europe’s fringes.

Of course those with a “trained (historical) mind will recall that the small bit of Slovakia annexed by Poland in 1938 had a majority Polish population.

By the way, my reference to YouTube for footage of the time of the creation of the common border should have read : “A Lengyel Magyar hataron” ( in Polish, “Na granicy Polsko-Wegierskiej”)

    ____________

    Habb.

You are indeed correct, the battle appears in volume II.

It is said that Tukhachevski, and Yegorov’s forces would’ve crushed Pilsudski’s forces, if they hadn’t decided to detach part of the Twelfth army, to engage Wrangel at the rear of the campaign.

Other factors that hindered Tukhachevski’s victory, were a far too rapid advancement 300 miles in 30 days, which left the spearhead spread out and in disarray. But more importantly the supply line couldn’t keep up with the rapid advance.

In Britain the Labour party stated it would no be an ally of Poland. In France the mood was similar, as Frenchmen cried “not a man, not a sou, not a shell for capitalist Poland.”

Long live the Russian Revolution were the words of the strapline of the French socialist newspaper, L’Humanite.

    Changed days indeed.

Only the Hungarians were sympathetic to the Polish plight.

At the end of the Second World War, Britain deported a huge number of Polish people back to Poland (I’m talking tens of thousands), knowing full well that they would all be butchered by Stalin & Co.

That is correct as far as the British Labour Party was concerned; the relevant Union – the Transport Union, in which Ernest Bevin was a big shot, attempted to prevent arms being sent to newly independent Poland.

This was the same Ernie Bevin who insisted in the 1940s that the UK should have its own atomic bomb.

As you say in your post – how times change. 🙂

As far as the second bit is concerned, I suspect that only Frenchmen of a certain persuasion cried thus. Most Frenchman had other things to worry about. So please do not seek to bamboozle the casual reader.

You are thinking of the Cossacks, remnants of the Vlasov army and sundry other White Russian émigrés.

Far from tens of thousands of Poles being sent back to Poland (or anywhere else for that matter), tens of thousands of Polish ex-servicemen – in fact, all those who did not wish to return to Poland – were allowed to stay in the UK. The organisation set up on their behalf was called the Polish Resettlement Corps, which was finally wound up in 1948/49 if memory serves.

It is the case that some, perhaps many of the UK Left would have wanted the govt to send them back to Poland – some for political reasons (they were the Useful idiots for Uncle Joe), others because they feared – wrongly – that there would be unemployment after WW2 as there was after WWI.

For God’s sake check your facts before posting.

    Or imbibe copiously only after.

John, it’s patently obvious that what’s gone on in the Ukraine is yet another CIA coup. The present Ukraine finance minister, who’s pushing through IMF and austerity stuff, is an American woman called Natalie Jaresko who’s an Ivy Leaguer…

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2015-03-05/putin-s-american-foe-in-ukraine-finance-minister-natalie-jaresko

    It’s so blatant it’s laughable.

“Jaresko held several economics-related positions at the US Department of State in Washington, D.C., and eventually coordinated activities of the State Department, the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, the United States Trade Representative, and Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in their economic relations with the Soviet Union and its successors. As part of her work she interacted with the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Later from 1992 to 1995, she was the first Chief of the Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, responsible for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.[8] In 2003 she was awarded the Ukrainian Order of Princess Olga for her contributions to the Ukrainian economy”

‘In Britain the Labour party stated it would no be an ally of Poland. In France the mood was similar, as Frenchmen cried “not a man, not a sou, not a shell for capitalist Poland.” ‘

What both the British and the French Labour movements were protesting against was a massive attempt to strangle the Russian revolution at birth. And they were right.
They told their governments that they would not assist in sending arms or men to Poland to fight the Red Army.
This meant, given the inability of politicians to load ships, that intervention was effectively ended.

It takes a real fascist to lament this historic victory of English dockworkers. Not least because it was a determined stand against war only months after Armistice Day had promised an end to the continental suicide which began in 1914.

The attempt to transform this refusal to countenance further attacks on Russia into a refusal to assist Poland is crude propaganda. There was no anti-Polish sentiment involved.

What was at issue was a campaign clearly designed, and openly advertised as being so, to restore capitalism in Russia. The claim that the Red Army was attempting to invade western Europe to spread the revolution is not true. In fact it is re-cycled Cold War propaganda, of the sort that was so popular in the 80s, to the effect that the Red Army was constantly on the verge of invading western Europe. It wasn’t then. It wasn’t in 1920. And its successor military isn’t now.
But who am I to stop a ruling class and its parasites from trying to earn a crust by telling lies?

  • Chris Rogers

    @Habbabkuk,

Your detestation of the Left seems to know no bounds, but what gives, what spin are you using to get away from the theme of this thread. Of course as you highlight the plight of the Poles post May 1945 you ignore the plight of the Germans and its allies – many were killed, and not all were members of the SS or NAZIS’s that’s for sure. Again, two wrongs don’t make a right and history can only inform future actions, it cannot determine them.

Again may I enquire, what has this to do with Clinton, what has this to do with the Middle East, or is it just engaging in Russia/ Leftwing bashing to further your cause?

Still do keep up the good work as more infants and children are slain across the length and breadth of the Middle East today, and no doubt more tomorrow. From your clap trap you must have some personal interest in the place, perhaps shares in hydrocarbons, or a loyalty to a tiny strip of land not worth the death of a single Pomeranian. But it’s ok for kids to be killed no doubt, particularly those brandishing pocket knives against those with the latest assault rifles, hand grenades and a plethora of other weapons to keep them kids in their place.

We used to have a word for this, GENOCIDE, but evidently engaging in genocide, supporting evil regimes – where ever they exist, and ignoring the plight of millions is all in a fair days work for our neocon friends, particularly those who campaign for the Zionist Ms. Clinton.

Greed, Greed, Greed, Greed. Oil, Oil, Oil.

Bloody sad. Actually its most distressing!

  • RobG

Habba, only Poles who had been in active service with the allies were given some right to stay. The rest were deported, en-mass, at the end of the war. When it comes to Polish people, we are talking about tens of thousands. When it comes to Soviet prisoners of war we are talking about hundreds of thousands, all of whom were deported to certain death. You don’t seem to have any problem with this, jolly chap that you are.

I won’t bother giving any links, because Habba never links to anything to back-up what he is saying. So instead this…

  • bevin

A good account of relations between Poland and the Soviet government in 1920 is to be found in EH Carr’s Three Volume History of the Revolution.

The Red Army did not attempt to invade western Europe and nobody was more aware of this than Pilsudski who feared not a Bolshevik invasion but the defeat of the Bolsheviks-who supported Polish independence- and their replacement by a neo-tsarist capitalist regime headed by White Generals.

Everyone ignored my link; apparently, they’d rather take out their frustration on Habbabkuk. Look, if people didn’t keep posting rubbish Habbabkuk wouldn’t be able to keep complaining about it, right?

Look. This is a declassified US Department of Defense document from 2012 about the US knowingly supporting ISIS to overthrow the Syrian government:

This story just takes the cake.
This well fit girl having stood for forty minutes in the security queue of the airport proceeds to drop her skirt and stands there with her see through leggings to prove she is not hiding anything and is not a bomber of any sort. Fact that her selfless attempts in showing off her fit bits and bobs have brought some nice break from the monotony of the endless queues and anxious and pensive faces of the weary travellers and wasp chewing face of the security guards, and ought to be welcomed.

    The above is not the case as the DM goes;

‘Members of the public around were distressed as she was undressing. She also banged on the desk angrily.’

Well slap my thigh public getting distressed with nudity of the well fit lass who was banging on the table!!!!!!!!! Wooooohhhoooo I hope they will get counselling and therapy for their trauma!!!!

The story then takes a bizarre turn:

‘I was becoming increasingly frustrated by the airport staff who were converging to tell this to me and as I was wearing leggings, lowered my skirt to show this was not the case and asked to be searched.’

She claimed a police officer then approached her, telling her to calm down.

She said: ‘He said “you’re on drugs”. I said “I’m not on drugs”. He said I shouldn’t talk to him like that because he had a machine gun. He said that if I didn’t shut up he was going to arrest me.’

Miss Ni Ghiallgairrh said the officer then ‘aggressively handcuffed her’ and lifted her off the ground by her wrist, breaking her thumb.

Not only threatens an unarmed and nearly naked woman with a machine-gun (probably all owing to his great training in zionistan) the pig officer then proceeds to break her thumb and take her into custody which is ended after fifteen hours!!! Needless to point our scuppering her chance of getting a job with a firm of architects in Barcelona!!!

Don’t it assure us the safe travelling public?
safe from whom, the various officers or the “tayyyyrrrrooooorrriii$$$$$$$ttts” which you work it out!!

Just read the comments, if an extra terrestrial tapped into our internet and read that shit probably would put Earth on to be incinerated list! Notwithstanding this story, reading the apple story and the way the idiots are boycotting apple for not letting FBI to get the secret passes into apple iphones is the prize wining SIS effort.

Rob did you read the PDF?

The clearly set out facts that Alqaeda in Iraq AQI is the instigator of the “revolution” in Syria has declared Assad government as “secular” and further as per the pontifications of the al head hunch* of AQI who calls the Assad as the front-line of the refuseniks and disobedience that is wrongly interpreted as (shiaite) in the document, probably for the head hamburgermunchers to make sense of the foreign idioms and concepts.

Why do you think that the document is a reason for war? It blows wide open the flimsy excuses of the US et al about the “rebellion” against Assad!

What’s going on in Syria at the moment is easily on par with the Cuban missile crisis; but it’s not reported; and particularly not on this blog.

Fedup, of course I read the PDF that Clark linked to. I don’t see anything in it that excuses present events.

    We’re coming for you.

  • Chris Rogers

    @Clark,

its very much old hat old bean, suffice to say just look at what the US Libyan Ambassador was up to in Benghazi prior to being killed by the hand choppers, it has been highly reported he was ferrying guns and other war materials to the so called ‘Syrian opposition’, namely ISIS, and this was done under no less an authority than Hilary Clinton, the subject of this thread – talk about being hoisted by your own petard and natural justice. And yet Ms. Clinton believes the US Presidency is her right.

Sy Hersh uncovered the USA plans for Syria way back in 2006 and published his material in 2007 – regrettably the Zionist Neocons and pressitutes ignore all facts, ignore all international norms, all international law and the UN in their quest to further both US and Israeli interests in the ME, which is why much of it, together with North Africa is ablaze with war. But its all worth it so we are told, even the killing of a child wielding a pen knife, which scarred the hell out of the poor Israeli soldier shooting her, for which he gets a medal no doubt!!!

But our protestations to, and detailing such crimes to Habbabkuk, Kempe and RD mean fuck all to them, for they are here to disrupt, switch & bait and generally be arseholes – I wonder how much the Israeli’s pay them for this, which is part of the course for the Zionists who can’t stand any denouncement against their racist state.

  • Clark

    Macky, 11:05 pm:

“More for those likes Kempe & Resident Resident to comment; what do you expect us who already knew this, to say ?”

Yes, if I’m not here when RD or Kempe arrive, you now have my link.

“What are YOU going to say when the declassified documents iro the US instigated Coup in Ukraine are released ?”

Macky, you seem to have trouble. You repeatedly convert “yes, and” to “no, but”. Hardly anything in the world is simply black-or-white; normally there are shades of (very dark) grey on all sides – and no, there are very rarely just two sides.

I never denied Neocon manipulation in Ukraine. I praised the Robert Parry article you linked and posted it or another onto my web-space for preservation and easy reference.

So what I will say is; “so here at last is the proof of what I (and others) were saying. You could dismiss and attempt to discredit the few decent, honest journalists, but you can’t dismiss the government’s own records”.

No Rob it is not Cuban missile crisis!! US has not the balls to play Putin this time, the huffing and puffing of the Turks and the al saud pederasts are all but a kabuki in trying to bluff a losing hand.

Read this The Syrian Endgame, “A Lost War is Dangerous”. US-NATO, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, “Losers on The Rampage”

Further threats of the al saud and the bribe of the oil quotas all belatedly offered to Russia as deal sweeteners are not getting the desired result. Unless the saboteurs manage to get their way and kick start the third world war.

Today Syrian army has cut off the main arterial route to Iraq hence the Deash lot are in disarray and the Turks are not making headways in their dreams of invading Asas fifteen thousand troops are not much of a contingent given the spread of their forces in or around Iraq and around Syria!!!

But you are right this war could go to the wire and get really ugly very quickly.
