Fox, Gould, Werritty and Israel – Please write to your MP 998

Now that Liam Fox is back in the Cabinet and Matthew Gould, ex-Ambassador to Israel, in in charge of Security in the Cabinet Office, it is essential to get answers to what happened in at least eight meetings between Adam Werritty and Gould at least some of which involved Mossad – as Cabinet Secretary Gus O’Donnell acknowledged to a parliamentary committee:

Hansard Public Administration Committee 24/11/2011

Q<369> Paul Flynn: Okay. Matthew Gould has been the subject of a very serious complaint from two of my constituents, Pippa Bartolotti and Joyce Giblin. When they were briefly imprisoned in Israel, they met the ambassador, and they strongly believe—it is nothing to do with this case at all—that he was serving the interest of the Israeli Government, and not the interests of two British citizens. This has been the subject of correspondence.

In your report, you suggest that there were two meetings between the ambassador and Werritty and Liam Fox. Questions and letters have proved that, in fact, six such meetings took place. There are a number of issues around this. I do not normally fall for conspiracy theories, but the ambassador has proclaimed himself to be a Zionist and he has previously served in Iran, in the service. Werritty is a self-proclaimed—

Robert Halfon: Point of order, Chairman. What is the point of this?

Paul Flynn: Let me get to it. Werritty is a self-proclaimed expert on Iran.

Chair: I have to take a point of order.

Robert Halfon: Mr Flynn is implying that the British ambassador to Israel is working for a foreign power, which is out of order.

Paul Flynn: I quote the Daily Mail: “Mr Werritty is a self-proclaimed expert on Iran and has made several visits. He has also met senior Israeli officials, leading to accusations”—not from me, from the Daily Mail—“that he was close to the country’s secret service, Mossad.” There may be nothing in that, but that appeared in a national newspaper.

Chair: I am going to rule on a point of order. Mr Flynn has made it clear that there may be nothing in these allegations, but it is important to have put it on the record. Be careful how you phrase questions.

Paul Flynn: Indeed. The two worst decisions taken by Parliament in my 25 years were the invasion of Iraq—joining Bush’s war in Iraq—and the invasion of Helmand province. We know now that there were things going on in the background while that built up to these mistakes. The charge in this case is that Werritty was the servant of neo-con people in America, who take an aggressive view on Iran. They want to foment a war in Iran in the same way as in the early years, there was another—

Chair: Order. I must ask you to move to a question that is relevant to the inquiry.

Q<370> Paul Flynn: Okay. The question is, are you satisfied that you missed out on the extra four meetings that took place, and does this not mean that those meetings should have been investigated because of the nature of Mr Werritty’s interests?

Sir Gus O’Donnell: I think if you look at some of those meetings, some people are referring to meetings that took place before the election.

Q<371> Paul Flynn: Indeed, which is even more worrying.

Sir Gus O’Donnell: I am afraid they were not the subject—what members of the Opposition do is not something that the Cabinet Secretary should look into. It is not relevant.

But these meetings were held—
Chair: Mr Flynn, would you let him answer please?

Sir Gus O’Donnell: I really do not think that was within my context, because they were not Ministers of the Government and what they were up to was not something I should get into at all.

Chair: Final question, Mr Flynn.

Q<372> Paul Flynn: No, it is not a final question. I am not going to be silenced by you, Chairman; I have important things to raise. I have stayed silent throughout this meeting so far.

You state in the report—on the meeting held between Gould, Fox and Werritty, on 6 February, in Tel Aviv—that there was a general discussion of international affairs over a private dinner with senior Israelis. The UK ambassador was present…

Sir Gus O’Donnell: The important point here was that, when the Secretary of State had that meeting, he had an official with him—namely, in this case, the ambassador. That is very important, and I should stress that I would expect our ambassador in Israel to have contact with Mossad. That will be part of his job. It is totally natural, and I do not think that you should infer anything from that about the individual’s biases.

Gus O’Donnell was being examined on his Cabinet Office report into the Fox/Werritty affair, which contained the blatant lie that Gould and Werritty had only met on two occasions. In fact they met eight times that we know for certain, with Gould’s role being:

1) 8 September 2009 as Miliband’s Principal Private Secretary (omitted from O’Donnell report)
2) 16 June 2010 as Hague’s Principal Private Secretary (omitted from O’Donnell report)
3) A “social occasion” in summer 2010 as Ambassador designate to Israel with Gould, Fox and Werritty (omitted from O’Donnell report)
4) 1 September 2010 in London (only one September meeting in O’Donnell report)
5) 27 September 2010 in London (only one September meeting in O’Donnell report)
6) 4-6 February 2011 Herzilya Conference Israel (omitted from O’Donnell report)
7) 6 February 2011 Tel Aviv dinner with Mossad and Israeli military
8) 15 May 2011 “We believe in Israel” conference London (omitted from O’Donnell report)

You can find full details here.

As O’Donnell states, some of the Werritty/Gould meetings happened when Fox and the Tories were not even in power. My own Freedom of Information request for all correspondence between Adam Werritty and Matthew Gould was denied as it would “breach the cost limit”. What is the purpose of the Freedom of Information Act if something as simple as correspondence between two named individuals is refused on grounds of cost.

Astonishingly, the request was denied within one hour of being submitted, and after 11pm!!!!! In reply to a further Freedom of Information Act request for minutes of the meetings between Gould and Werritty while Gould was Private Secretary to Hague and Miliband, the FCO quite literally sent me two blank pages with everything redacted except the date!!!

Various MP’s, including Jeremy Corbyn and Caroline Lucas, dragged out the information bit by bit, like drawing teeth.

Screenshot (74)

The media were by and large prepared to treat the Werritty/Fox scandal purely as sniggering homophobia. Only the Independent reported the actual story

Screenshot (75)

Fox’s resignation enabled the media to bury the real scandal, which was Israeli government influence on both Red and Blue Tories.

I therefore request everybody who reads this to write to their MP and ask them to find the following information. Here is a draft you may utilise, but the more you customise it the better:

Dear ……..,

I am concerned about unresolved questions from the Adam Werritty affair, and I should be grateful if you could discover the following information for me.

1) On how many occasions did Cabinet Office official Matthew Gould meet with Mr Adam Werritty, either
a) in a personal capacity
b) in an official capacity

2) Who else was present on each occasion?
3) What was discussed on each occasion?

I have been informed of at least eight such meetings which have been collected together from parliamentary questions and FOIA requests. I am concerned that only two of these meetings was detailed in the Cabinet Secretary’s report into the Adam Werritty affair.

Can you discover why so many of these meetings were omitted from the O’Donnell report?

I should be most grateful for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,

You can write to your MP via this website , though I awlays prefer to send a physical letter to the House of Commons. I should be most grateful for your assistance in doing this, and in spreading this appeal around by social media.

It is to me disgusting that a politician so thoroughly disgraced as Liam Fox should be back in power. Answers were blanked on the actual purpose of the Werritty connection, and I think collectively we should try to do something about that.

So Theresa May has met with Francois Hollande, over a dinner of lobster, veal and vanilla mousse. President Hollande has urged PM May, to trigger article 50, sooner than later, when asked about Britain’s future in the Single Market, Hollande pointed out, that it will be subject to future negotiations.

However Hollande was quick to add, the UK has access to the Single Market, because it abides by the four freedoms.

In my opinion the free movement of people, will be a major sticking point when it comes to Brexit negotiations. Who will compromise first May? Or the EU? Interesting times lie ahead, as a Brexit deal is thrashed out.

        • Shatnersrug

The four Freedoms is a common term that is used for a set of Treaty provisions:
          The free movement of goods.

The free movement of services and freedom of establishment.

The free movement of persons (and citizenship), including free movement of workers.

          The free movement of capital.

Regarding Turkey, I see President Erdogan has managed to suspend Human rights laws in the country, as press figures claim that almost 10, 000 people have been rounded up and detained.

One wonders if Erdogan is also trying to change the educational system in Turkey with 22,000 teachers being fired from their teaching roles, along with 21,000 teachers having their licences revokes frim teaching in private schools.

Erdogan may be trying to shape the minds of young Turks, by clearing out teacher’s who inform pupils, rather than preach to them. I’d imagine Erdogan is removing such tutors claiming they’re using Gulenist techniques, to poison the minds of the next and future generations.

If Erdogan goes to far his popularity could wane, leading to unrest and a possible uprising, one that the CIA, could back in the near future. The long suffering Kurds may yet prove useful to the US.

It’s a blood purge just as designed. For a populist, Edrogan certainly seems to take his popularity for granted. I can see Trump doing shit like this if he gets the popular vote.

      • lysias

Trump could easily win the election in the Electoral College, even if he loses in the popular vote. Polls show Hillary far ahead in the extremely populous states of California and New York. If she takes those states by something like 60% or 65%, that margin would cancel out a margin in the national polls of something like 3% or more.

        • Ben Monad

I’m in california and I will tell you very few women are raising their heads in support of her.

If he wins the popular vote, it means he will have their support in Congress for his reforms.

I use the word ‘reform’ only in the St Ronaldus sense of the word.

I’m no fan of the Daily Mail, however this article shines a light on the dark and dubious undertakings, going on in the corridors of Westminster.

“Ministers have repeatedly misled Parliament about the use of British-made cluster bombs by Saudi Arabian forces in Yemen, the Foreign Office admitted last night.”

“In an unprecedented move, Tobias Ellwood, a minister at the department, issued ‘corrections’ to six statements on the Yemen crisis dating back almost six months.”

“MPs and campaigners have been pressing the Government over the use by Saudi Arabia of British weapons and expertise in its bloody incursion in neighbouring Yemen.”

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3702440/Parliament-misled-six-times-Saudi-Arabia-forces-use-UK-cluster-bombs.html

    There is a sentence that says, in the report, that;

“This sordid affair tarnishes Britain’s standing in the world”

One wonders could it really be anymore damaged than it actually is?

The head of the International Monetary Fund, French woman Christine Lagarde,
will stand trial over a state payout to the French tycoon Bernard Tapie, an appeals court has ruled.

She is charged with negligence over the award to Mr Tapie of €404m ($445m; £339m) in 2008 when she was France’s economy minister.
This is the same bitch who told us it would be bad to very very bad if we voted for BREXIT.
She has repeatedly given alarmist, wrong messages.
She should split her time between trying to put the knackered French economy back on the straight and narrow
and keeping herself out of jail

In FRANCE they have for the fourth time extended the state of emergency, now to come to an end next Spring.
So by then it will have been in continuity for a couple of years.

However my guess is that the foxy Hollande, will extend it again, to last till after the forthcoming Presidential elections.

He is expected to be trounced at the first phase.
Le Penn is expected to win at the first phase.
If she becomes the first woman President of France, one of her first moves will be a referendum on FREXIT

One wonders if the incident at RAF Marham, in which the media said it couldn’t rule out terrorism, yes that word again. Will be a catalyst to a greater event in the UK.

The two suspects allegedly attempted to abduct a civilian clothed soldier, at knife point, but failed, shades of the Lee Rigby event spring to mind, whatever your feeling on that matter may be.

Britian is already on the highest level of alert, which is severe, one wonders if the physical need to reinforce that level, has to be applied, to keep it fresh in our memories.

Thank you Fedup for that link, I’m not surprised Barroso has joined Goldman Sachs, I recall his duplicitous behsviour during the Scottish referendum.

Max Keiser calls it as he sees it, with regards to the banksters, such as Goldman Sachs and J.P.Morgan Chase.

Incidently here is a list of former Goldman Sachs employees, Mark Carney the governor of the BoE, is amongst them, what does that say about him?

A few important Greek officials also work for the company, along with ex-presidents of the Fed, and ECB.

The banksters really do control the world economy, ergo they control our ability to distribute wealth among the people, in a sense.

“Secret files detailing the shadowy Middle Eastern business activities of Sir Mark Thatcher, son of the late former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, will be kept under lock and key in government archives instead of being published as expected.”

“Four batches of documents on the younger Thatcher are being retained despite official legislation dictating documents should be released after 20 years unless there are good reasons to retain them in Britain’s National Archives.”

“Previously the rule had been that files are made public after 30 years, but this was reduced to 20 years under Labour PM Gordon Brown.”

It was widely touted that, the then PM, Margaret Thatcher, gave approval to her son Mark to engineer the failed coup, of oil rich Equatorial Guinea, according to the memoirs of former SAS officer and chief protagonist Simon Mann.

Milligan’s death significantly contributed to ending John Major’s “Back to Basics” policy initiative.

Milligan was Parliamentary Private Secretary to Jonathan Aitken, Minister of State for Defence, and was regarded as a “rising star” of the Conservative Party.

Hollande said he would also be sending the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier to the region “at the end of September”.

The carrier “will allow us to intensify strikes against terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq using our Rafale jets,” he said.

    He has form.

They only have one proper aircraft carrier the Charles de Gaulle, the only European aircraft carrier which is Nuclear-powered, however hollande has sent the Charles de Gaulle, to the Mid-East, recently after a terror attack in FRANCE

I can’t quite phathom, how a Nuclear-powered aircraft carrier based in the Eastern Med. off-shore from Syria,
    will stop terror in France?

From the Guardian live blog linked to above…

“The Olympia shopping centre is a two-tiered glass covered mall. It was built on the site of the 1972 Summer Olympics. The Munich Olympics was overshadowed by a terrorist attack in which 11 Israeli sportsmen and a German policeman were killed after being taken hostage by Palestinian terrorists.”

You really couldn’t make this shit up.

Republicofscotland, with regard to what happened in Nice just over a week ago, it’s widely acknowledged by even the presstitutes that the perpetrator did not subscribe to Islam and had mental health problems, etc; yet we’re told it’s an ‘ISIS attack’ and we are at war.

These ever increasing phony attacks only point to one thing: they are rolling out the full-blown police state (it’s all been written into law).

They are doing this because the western economy is a train crash (which is a result of three decades of neo-con policies) and the peasants are revolting. None of this revolution – particularly what’s going on in France – has been properly reported by the presstitutes.

          • Republicofscotland

” yet we’re told it’s an ‘ISIS attack’”

            _________________

            Rob.

There could be an explanation for the above claim, in that when an event is triggered, a sock puppet account is then activated, using the name of whatever faction is to be implicated in the event, the target area in whatever country can then be indentified and focused on.

Its a very convincing way to apportion blame, in the direction you want, it’s also very difficult to dispute the claim. ISIS fighters are unlikely to come forward and say it wasn’t us. Once the press get hold of the claim, then the info goes viral, job done.

Gunmen went on a shooting rampage in a shopping mall in the southern German city of Munich on Friday, killing many people, police said.

Authorities were evacuating people from the Olympia mall but many others were hiding inside.

A Munich police spokeswoman said multiple people were killed or wounded.

“We believe we are dealing with a shooting rampage,” the spokeswoman said.

More than one gunman was believed to be involved and no one had been arrested, she said.

Michael, I once saw the Slits live at the old Marquee Club in Soho. Your shoes squelched as you walked across the beer-sodden floor and the amps were turned up full volume, which was very helpful for ear wax removal (even though you’d be deaf for a week afterwards). The Slits were great, as were this mob…

To my mind, ‘One Chord Wonders’ perfectly captures the essence of UK punk rock during its early years. It was a debut single, as was this track; which, despite the sexuality that’s now pumped into music in order to sell it, nothing has ever come anywhere close to. This song lasts for almost exactly two minutes…

France fears Syria massacre, wants more pressure on Russia – Ayrault

France is alarmed by the Syrian government’s tightening siege of Aleppo and the risk it will carry out a bloodbath near Damascus, and will push this week for more pressure on Syria’s ally Russia, Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said on Tuesday.

“We are extremely concerned by the situation in Aleppo, but Daraya as well,” Ayrault told Reuters, referring to a rebel-held Damascus suburb seen as the epicentre of the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad.

“Daraya is a symbol and we fear a real massacre.”

Daraya is besieged by forces loyal to Assad, who until last month had refused to allow aid to starving residents since 2012.

International aid convoys reached the town in June, but fighting continues and about 6,000 people are still trapped there.

Outside Aleppo, Syria’s army and allied militia fighters backed by Russian air power this week seized the only road into the rebel-held part of the northern city, tightening a siege that has trapped some 200,000 to 300,000 people.

“France will not close its eyes to the drama of Aleppo,” Ayrault said before a meeting on Syria in London with his British, U.S., German, Italian and EU counterparts.

“What we cannot accept is to wait for election calendars,” he said referring to the November presidential election in the United States. “We need to launch a call to help those besieged.”

As well as Western-backed rebels, Assad is also fighting the hardline Islamic State, which controls about a third of the country, and the local al Qaeda affiliate, the Nusra Front. The rebels of Aleppo and Daraya are supported by the same western countries that are conducting air strikes against Islamic State.

Ayrault said more pressure needed to be put on Moscow so it would in turn lean on Assad, something that he wanted like-minded countries to discuss when the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State meets in Washington later this week.

After last week’s attack in Nice, Ayrault said Paris would reiterate its readiness to step efforts against Islamic State or Daesh, which should now focus on its sanctuary in Raqqa, Syria.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the Nice attack, in which a Tunisian man killed 84 people by ploughing through a Bastille Day crowd with a truck.

“Our priority also, and this will be the objective in Washington, is that effort against Daesh is much stronger”, Ayrault said.

    O/T
Anyone noticed the report of the MPs on Mike Ashley’s company? They are blaming the same “entrepreneurs” that have been given the carte blanche to treat their workers as slaves, no permanent jobs, no pensions, no sick pay, no holiday pay, etc. The laws that have bee enacted by the same bunch of free loading “representatives” have made the zero hour contracts as the only way of being in enployment, ie to be at the beck and call of middlemen (agencies) who would notify the slaves about their working hours on Sunday evenings for the coming week, for jobs that pay minimum wage but the said middlemen will be taking their commission for finding the job on offer that means working for less than the minimum wage for these workers. The workers who will be subject of additional penalty of paying for their own payroll to be processed, a further erosion of the scant wages that the zero hour contract workers have to endure. That is if the job is for more than a few hours, and near thirty to forty hours, otherwise the workers will be facing shortfalls in their income with fewer hours to work.

But the same legislators are now haranguing at Mike Ashley for treating his workers in a fashion of the Victorian workhouse, needless to point out these tosspots have conveniently overlooked their own role in legislating for such an eventuality. The duplicitous deceitful swine are probably busy shoving around Sports Direct in favour of a competitor probably owned by another favoured darling such as Philip Green. After all Mike Ashley had dared to make an offer for British Home Stores, upsetting the apple cart.

    • Republicofscotland

      Fedup.

From snippets of news I’ve overheard on the radio, apparently 74 ambulances attended Mick Ashley’s Sports Direct warehouse over a period of time, one woman gave birth in the toilets, because was afraid she’d lose her job, if she left the warehouse, and an employee lost 15 minutes worth of wages, if the showed up just 1 minute late.

The conditions that the employees work under, makes the sweat shops of South East Asia, seem positively appealing.

Is a boycott of Sports Direct goods on the cards, until employees conditions improve? I wonder.

Incidently Amazons employees at their warehouse in Scotland, don’t fair much better.

Alas Brexit will see the privatisation of the NHS in England and Wales, and a carve up of of any company significant enough to draw the attention of the corporate beasts such as the sale of ARM recently.

The Americanisation of Britian post Brexit, will come on leaps and bounds.

Those workers are on zero hour contracts!!!

Their choices are limited either they work or they don’t eat! This fact that is not being publicised, blames Mike Ashley. He has no contract with these workers, and they fall under the jurisdiction of the agencies that employ these workers, so Mike Ashley only pays the agencies and that is his obligations over and done with. Although the mistreatment despite having taken place but the blame is not being apportioned correctly. The woman giving birth in the toilet was unable to have not gone to work because she was not entitled to any maternity leave, and her sick pay would have been seventy three pounds!!

These facts are corroborated by the sex for permanent position in the warehouse rule!

The fact remains that the same bunch of tosspots who legislated for the zero hour contracts and repealed all the employee protection laws, are now screaming foul. Scream these tossers will, but changing the laws in worker rights protection are not on the cards.

If the NHS is to be privatised expect riots in this country.

“Why should the good citizens of the UK be any different?”

          Because:

1/ We are the U.K. and there are none better, thus we should lead by example.

2/ Somebody promised us “A Land Fit For Heroes”, which thus far, they have failed to deliver.

          Does that answer your question?

        • Suhayl Saadi

The NHS already is being privatised by stealth in England and Wales. There will not be riots because sufficient numbers of people in England and Wales have been deluded into blaming, ‘migrants’ (i.e. the ‘Other’) for their economic woes.

Unlike the Irish and Scots (and Welsh, though with reduced impact recently as parts of the demographic in Wales appear to imagine themselves as Honorary English) as a whole the English have not been able to develop a left-wing nationalism because rather than being anti-colonial, their national identity remains coterminous with that of the British Empire. This is why even someone like Jeremy Corbyn does not able to engage with the concept of, for example, federalism within the UK – they cannot countenance any form of nationalism. And so, in England the Right is able to monopolise the agenda.

Bread, circuses and hate – a most effective recipe.

Everyone trusts Boris Johnson, and here’s what Boris has just said at the UN…

“Everybody is shocked and saddened by what has taken place. Our thoughts are very much with the victims, their families, with the people of Munich, and the people of Germany more widely.

If, as seems very likely, this is another terrorist incident, then I think it proves once again that we have a global phenomenon now and a global sickness that we have to tackle both at source – in the areas where the cancer is being incubated in the middle east – and also of course around the world.”

“Owen Smith to pledge equal representation of women in Labour” is the latest headline, but excuse me, but earlier in the week wasn’t he scratching the female candidate’s eyes out on TV?

    • Leonard Young

Corbyn announced an identical pledge on women almost precisely a year ago (23rd July 2015) but the media are reporting that Smith’s announcement is new and fresh. In fact it is a copycat policy. That shows just how pro-Smith and Anti-Corbyn the media is. It knows perfectly well that Corbyn announced it first as his office sent out press releases to all newspapers and broadcasters in a detailed document, not just a quick speech that Smith delivered.

See the amusing Jonathan Pie on the ludicrous descriptions of what constitutes “left, right, centre, soft-left, hard-left, centre-right ad nauseam in this Smith put down here:

The latest bullshit about Munich: apparently no one’s been killed, but 10 people have been injured; how seriously is not known.

On the strength of this, most of Munich has been put into lock-down, because of one gunman on the lose. It smacks of exactly the same kind of nonsense that went on in Boston: a try-out of the police state.

People really must wake-up to what’s going on here.

Since I’ve been banging on about music, and the neo-con hamster cage we now live in, I might as well finish with this: Arcade Fire should have been the voice of the Occupy movement back in the 2000s; but it was all totally usurped by the psychos in Washington. It’s now hard to find good quality video of this band online, so you’ll have to suffer lesser quality in the meantime…

An 18-year-old German-Iranian gunman who apparently acted alone opened fire near a busy shopping mall in Munich on Friday evening, killing at least nine people in the third attack on civilians in Western Europe in eight days.

The pistol-wielding attacker, identified by Munich Police Chief Hubertus Andrae as a dual national from Munich, was later found dead of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities said it was too early to say whether it was a terrorist attack, and said they had no immediate evidence of an Islamist motive.
Chancellor Angela Merkel is due to meet her chief of staff, Peter Altmaier, and Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere and a host of intelligence officials on Saturday to review the incident.

Police, citing witnesses, had initially said they were looking for up to three suspects and were treating the incident as a suspected terrorist attack.

But authorities told a news conference early on Saturday the shooter was believed to have staged the attack alone, opening fire in a fast food restaurant before moving to the mall.

Andrae said authorities did not see similarities to an attack in southern Germany last Monday in which an axe-wielding 17-year-old asylum-seeker killed five people in an incident claimed by the Islamic State group.

Andrae said it was premature to say whether the Friday incident was a terrorist attack, as French President Francois Hollande said, or the work of a deranged person.

Frau Merkel could take the blame for the latest horror in Germany because of her open-border scheme

As the horrifying scenes from Germany’s third largest city sparked outrage across the world many in German pinned the blame directly on the country’s leading politician and her open door policy on migrants.

Police revealed the gunman who killed nine people and injured at least 20 others at a Munich shopping mall is an 18-year-old Iranian immigrant Ali Sonboly

  • Trowbridge H. Ford aka The Biscuit

Must say, Lysias, I find the material you mentioned about the who, why and how of the JFK assassination sadly lacking.

They suggest that the President was killed by opponents in the intelligence and military establishments, though not being all that clear about who they are and what they did, especially when and why they decided to set up Oswald as an assassin. ultimately the lone assassin.

Think my three-part explantation which appeared in Tom Valentine’s The Change in the spring of 1978. and in a much shorter version in the Portuguese weekly Ja in June 1996 much better, explaining why it is ignored.

    • lysias

Newman clearly points to Angleton as the person who was stage-managing Oswald’s movements.

      • Trowbridge H. Ford aka The Biscuit

        But he was wrong.

Oswald was being moved around by William King Harvey, the leading Plumber who was running the Agency’ s executive action program.

Read John Mark’s book about its mind control program, especially when Oswald, the rundown double agent, was taken to New Orleans where he was subjected to rapid hypnosis to kill the President, but he refused, obliging others, particularly Momo Giancana’s assassins Ricard Cain and Chuckie Nicoletti to set him up as the fallguy.

Doubt Newman even mentioned them by name.

For more, read the book Double Cross by Momo’s relatives.

      Michael

Thank you for that information on Venezuela, which the US has been trying break and infiltrate for years now. The “Great Satan” the US, (governments not its people) has meddled with just about every South American nation in one way or another, and not in a good way.

However, Scotland’s economy doesn’t depend on tax receipts from oil, unlike Venezuela’s those go straight into Westminster’s coffers, and have done so from day one. Thatchers war in the Falklands for instance, was funded by the oil boom from the North sea, just as she was destroying our heavy industries, such as coal and steel.

No oil revenue in a independent Scotland, no matter how small, would be a welcome bonus. Scotland has a thriving economy in the food and drinks industry, for quite a few years now, oil revenue would be the cherry on top so to speak.

The assumption that these incidents-in Nice, Munich and elsewhere- are false flag provocations is not something that should be discounted. But the truth is that the need for false flag operations no longer exists. Unlike the situation in Europe in the post war era, during which there were virtually no terrorist campaigns being carried out, the Empire no longer needs to raise tensions in society. It has managed, by dint of an aggressive pro zionist foreign policy and domestic economic policies which impoverish and demoralise millions of working people, to produce a society in which fear and loathing are permanent.

What seems to be happening is exactly what everyone expected would happen after Bush and Blair attacked Afghanistan and then Iraq before settling into a broad operation to suppress any signs of resistance in muslim countries: an atmosphere of islamophobia and daily reports of ‘western’ inspired carnage- a hundred in a suicide bombing here, 300 in a French aerial strike there; a particularly nasty Special Ops massacre in Helmand Province a cannibal’s barbecue in Gaza- has proved to be perfect conditions to produce genuinely spontaneous and regular outbursts of blind violence.

False flag operations were intended to produce genuine incidents. The strategy succeeded a long time ago. It is likely that almost all these attacks are genuine consequences of the persecution of communities, the provocations of wars involving Air Forces on the one side and half trained youths armed with second hand ordnance on the other, and a steady decline in material living standards and the possibilities of poor people preserving self respect and dignity in a rat race.

As to ISIS or Al Qaeda being behind such attacks, either directly or through propaganda, that, too is unlikely. They simply do not have the reach except in places-Syria, Iraq, Libya, Chechnya, Sinkiang- where they have support or encouragement from western security services.

The bottom line is that these attacks are the inevitable and widely predicted results of the ‘war on terror’ and part and parcel of a system in which distracting and dividing communities is essential to the massive theft of public and privately held wealth- from privatising the NHS to purloining pensions and imposing tolls of roads- which is what neo-liberalism is all about.

Finally, the objection that I have to assuming that terrorist attacks are false flag events is that it denies the possibility of blowback and the agency of people reduced, by desperation, to madness. Because the lesson of every one of these murderous incidents is that if we want a society in which violence, injustice and double standards are accepted and regarded as inevitable, then reactions of the most unpredictable kind, nursed in the broken minds of people so desperate that they have given up on life itself, are inevitable.

This is the bed that our governments have made and we must sleep in it. Or change it.

    • Leonard Young

There are two distinct types of false flag ops. One is where patsies are set up to carry out “drills” or “rehearsals” of a supposed attack but they end up being real attacks. The patsies are then eliminated. The most likely example of this is 7/7.

The other is not a “drill” as such, but a falsified event where it is doubtful anyone was killed, but the impression given is that many were. The most likely example of this is Sandy Hook.

The common argument against false flags being true is that it would be impossible to persuade so many actors or participants to keep quiet. In fact it is quite easy to achieve that provided a large proportion of the MSM is on message. Another difficulty is that everyone piles in, some clearly making absurd deductions which then cause a blanket derision against others who take a more intelligent and forensic approach. One sloppy “conspiracy” theorist can expunge the good work of a hundred other more measured sceptics.

The media is primed permanently to go along with the official narrative by default. As has now been demonstrate many times – and Iraq is a classic case – this dereliction of proper journalism is repeated time and time again, and yet we don’t seem to learn.
