Total Bollocks From MI5 353

In the last decade, now 7/7 has dropped out of this statistic, only one person has been killed in the UK by an Islamic terrorist attack. Let me repeat that. In the last decade, one person has been killed in the UK by an Islamic terrorist attack. That unfortunate death was Lee Rigby.

Rigby’s tragic murder illustrated how easy it is for terrorists to commit an outrage. Two very disorganised Nigerian nutters murdered him with knives. Unfortunately, if a couple of nutters decide to go at someone on the street, they have a high chance of success.

Which is why you would have to be a lunatic actually to believe MI5’s repeated claims during the last decade that there are thousands of dedicated terrorists out there, fanatical determined and organised, but in a decade of constant effort they have succeeded in killing nobody else. There were, MI5 claim, six actual terrorist plots this year but fortunately MI5 saved all of us.

If you believe MI5’s stories, there are two possibilities. The first is that we have security services of a quite incredible efficiency, able to foil random terrorism, generally regarded as near impossible. The second is that we have thousands of dedicated terrorists of such incredible ineptitude that they can’t manage to kill anybody, even when they could choose any random undefended target in the entire UK and any method from knives to poison to hit and run to shooting to bombs, and don’t mind losing their own lives in the attempt. We have rubbish terrorists.

There is of course a third possibility – that these thousands of dedicated terrorists and these scores of foiled plots in the last decade were inventions, or at least the grossest exaggerations, by the security services. A number of fantasists have indeed been convicted and jailed. But the only, single, potential attacker in recent years who actually possessed a viable bomb was a British army soldier with a hatred of Muslims. And naturally he was not counted as nor convicted as a terrorist. Terrorists are Muslims.

The famous “liquid bomb plot”, in which it eventually transpired, unreported by mainstream media, that there were in fact no bombs and no plane tickets and the suspicious chemical found in baby bottles was Milton sterilising solution for baby bottles, is perhaps the best example.

But of course, lots of people are convicted of terrorism. Indeed law after law has stretched the definition of terrorism so far that I am almost certainly guilty of it just by publishing this blogpost. Meanwhile the Government is concentrating on bullying universities and students to ban speakers who say exactly the kind of thing I am writing here, speakers who protest against the detention and harassment of Muslims, and the continued policy of bombing Muslim countries and killing civilians.

Because there is almost no Islamic terrorism in the UK. It is virtually non-existent. It is not the true reason the corporate state wants ever more surveillance power, ever more restriction on freedom of speech and even, in universities, freedom of thought. Do not be fooled. Fight back.

I’m not sure they need more brains either. That’s assuming that stopping terrorism is one of their real goals. They have quite enough brains to pursue their real agendas.

  • lysias

Remember the description of old Austria’s system: “Absolutismus, gemildert durch Schlamperei [Absolutism tempered by sloppiness/laziness]”. We might be better off if they had fewer brains.

  • lysias

Here’s how Wiktionary translates Schlamperei: “Laziness, inefficiency, muddleheadedness, especially as a supposed south-German or Austrian characteristic.”

Well said, Craig. It’s been pretty clear for a while now that the Orwellian surveillance is not about protecting us from terrorists but about protecting the elite from us. now that the spooks are recording every aspect of our lives—text chats, phone location logs, emails, web browsing etc—and storing it, I fear dissent is going to be very difficult in a few years time. It’s an invisible digital leash.

If I encouraged Yemeni fighters [whose families are being bombed indiscriminately by the Saudis, with US and UK help]to invade Saudi Arabia and hang all the Saudi Royal family perverts from lamp posts. Would I be in breach of the Encouragement to Terrorism Act 2006?

  • BrianFujisan

Great Post Craig. Long may you be able to keep up such great insights.

One Terrorist Death, and it was So unsettling to read the response of Some of our Soldiers around the time Lee Rigby’s Murder.

As for Questioning the establishment…How the Fk did James O’Brien get a job at bbC news ?.. Well Done James for grilling Daniel Kawczynski MP on Saudi arms sales –

Considering that the UK has recently committed acts of war against (at least) Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Iraq – and has contributed to the deaths of as many as 2.8 million people in Iraq alone – it’s utterly amazing that we haven’t been attacked more often and on a vastly greater scale.

Although people seem to have forgotten this elementary legal fact, when you commit and act of war against another nation you enter a state of war with that nation. It is then entitled to commit acts of war against you.

  • Tom Welsh

Apologies for the typo: “when you commit and act of war” should read “when you commit an act of war”.

  • Tom Welsh

Incidentally, the number of surplus deaths in Iraq caused by US/UK sanctions and military action since 1990 – 2.8 million – is greater than the entire population of Crimea.

Apparently killing 2.8 million people is a forgivable mistake, but allowing 2 million or so people (at their own request) to rejoin the nation to which they and their ancestors had belonged since before the USA existed is unforgivable.

    “…and what’s your job?”
“Oh, I’m responsible for deploying anti-lion powder in Hyde Park”.
“But there aren’t any lions in Hyde Park!”
“That’s because I’m so conscientious with the anti-lion powder”.

In Northern Ireland Mi5 were involved with the commissioning and cover up of “terrorist” outrages.

It is known that Mi5 lure-in, facilitate and protect high profile paedophiles.

Unfortunately these are hard facts supported by hard evidence not the ramblings of freaky nutter conspiracy theorists.

There is something very disturbing and sick about a ruling class that rely on an untouchable security service, not to protect the people who pay their wages but to destabilise democracy and the rule of law.

We know it and yet we keep voting them back in.

@Je “During the cold war – the Queen and government had nuclear bomb shelters to go to. Jo Public would have got a leaflet pushed through the door saying about hiding under the stairs.”

Also the BBC journalists so they could report on the rest of us being toasted.

You know about I/Ops, Craig. Most people don’t though. I learnt about it from Annie Machon – maybe you could alert more people to it too? Since hearing about its existence, I’ve become much more sceptical of what I read in the newspapers. It’s like Orwell’s Ministry of Truth, except it actually exists.

  • lysias

Orwell’s Ministry of Truth in a sense really existed. Orwell based it, to a large extent, on his experiences working for the BBC during World War Two.

There have been claims that Nigel Kneale based the government controlled by sinister forces of Quatermass II on his own experiences working for the BBC.

Unless of-course friends they want one to happen, then there is a high degree of competence shown…

I was explaining how this works to a friend..
They have (Illuminatus), oversight on security services throughout the world..they monitor possible threats and “two-hats” does the dirty*. Lists are made of possibles and potentials (assets may be assigned without knowledge of “Lower Echelon” national services), when needed can be agent provocateur activated or simply used (in the media having been “protected”), at the appropriate time (monsieur Hollande); surveillance, oversight, how it is done and what it is for……….

*Because much of the tech. is still secret they maintain this dangerous autonomy (I refer you also to the massive -official-, overspends in military expenditure always encountered in France, The U.S and Britain).

The “two-hats” business is of-course officially sanctioned, it is what happens as a result of this “information sharing” that is the problem.

    MJ encourages “Peter Beswick”, thus:

“Peter Beswick: all attempts to get a birth certificate for Rigby have drawn a blank. That’s also odd.”

    ________________________

All attempts by whom, MJ? Can you enlighten us, please?

Birth certificates are not made available to third parties on simple request, you know.

If Fedup (for example) attempted to get your birth certificate the General Register Office or the local Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages would tell him to get lost.

Further: if you have to supply your birth certificate for official purposes (eg, to obtain a passport), the Passport Office does not simply ask the GRO or the local RBDM for it – it is you who have to ask for it and then send it off to the official body which needs to see it.

So, to repeat the question: who made all those attempts?

  • RobG

The Clive Bull show this evening on LBC had a section about mass surveillance and everything that Craig’s talking about here. There were the usual egits/government agents, calling in to say “if you’ve done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear”. Then a caller rang in to say that they’d worked in China, and said that everyone there was under mass surveillance by the state, that the internet and all communications are monitored, the press was one big propaganda operation, etc, etc, and that we are lucky because in Britain we live in a ‘democracy’. There was no irony in the caller’s voice, and they obviously didn’t understand that Britain is now just as bad as China, if not worse when it comes to these things (the relentless attacks on Corbyn being an obvious recent example).

It’s this total disconnect that’s so hard to overcome: people are brainwashed that we’re the ‘good guys’, the ‘beacons of freedom and democracy’, and that our politics and economics are superior; despite the fact that a brain dead hamster could see that the complete opposite is obviously the case.

Britain is already a police state, as is America, where at least they had some kind of constitution to begin with, before Obama & Co tore it to shreds. In Britain there’s never been any proper written constitution (which is why it’s been so easy for governments and corporations to turn it into a police state).

So doff your caps to the Lords and the Royals, and just be grateful that if you’ve done nothing wrong then you have nothing to fear.

Over the last three threads I’ve lost count of the number of comments where Habb has called fellow commentors, f#cking fools.

Looks like the sad loser has had a bad day ergo he’s taking his failings out on fellow commentors.

    Very sad indeed.

Yes they are (copies, to be precise) – if you pay the fee.
The information on them is a public record.
They can be ordered online, and in person no-one would tell you to ‘get lost’.

I think his point might have something to do with the fact that few, if any (correct me if I’m wrong here, whydontcha) of those other “several million Londoners and quite a large number of tourists” were the “Prime Minister of Zionist Israel”, nor the “Mayor of New York on 9-11” (when “the world changed!!”)

Britain is already a police state, as is America, where at least they had some kind of constitution to begin with, before Obama & Co tore it to shreds.

IMHO, It was more like Cheney and his junior partner Boy George tore it to shreds first. Maybe Obama is just helping stomp the shredded remains into the dirt:

Former Canadian diplomat and Professor Emeritus of English at UCLA, Berkely Peter Dale Scott Explains the Secret Cheney Operation on 9/11:

9/11 was a seminal day in US history, but, as noted author and historian Peter Dale Scott tells WhoWhatWhy, the true significance of what happened goes far beyond what meets the eye. In this podcast, Scott focuses in particular on the implementation of a secret “Continuity of Government” plan that had been decades in the making. Consequently, he argues, there has been “a permanent change to the United States” that permeates the lives of all Americans. The result, according to Scott, has been the suspension of Constitutional rights and the transformation of America in ways that we are still living with today.

In this eye-opening, in-depth podcast interview with WhoWhatWhy’s Jeff Schechtman, Scott, a retired diplomat, professor, and father of the concept of “Deep Politics,” provides a whole new interpretation of the 9/11 attacks and the special opportunities they opened up for certain government elements to have a conflicted relationship with the law of the land — the US Constitution itself.

Well, obviously the attractions of “La Dolce Vita” (or whatever) are wearing a little thin for Señor Habbbakuk, today. (Mastroianni might empathize with his domestic issues perhaps)

A conservative “working” peer has made an astonishing claim that he handled billions of pounds of terrorist funds at the behest of the Bank of England during his business career, with the IRA as his “biggest client”.

  • Peter Beswick

Flushing out shills is easy when they are a bit thick.

Ian Hurst (Martin Ingram) was not a “credible witness” but Kevin Fulton (Peter Keeley) was at the Huttonesque Smithwick Tribunal both said that the IRA was stuffed with Mi5 types. Hurst said more than half the senior ranks in the IRA were Mi5 officers or associates. He said Lord Stevens told him out of 210 terrorist suspects that he had arrested only 3 were not working for the police, Mi5 or the British army.

Children’s homes in Northern Ireland, Scotland Wales, England and the Channel Islands have all enjoyed Mi5;s patronage. MP’s, celebrities, at least one Prime Minister, Judges and police officers have all received the favours of Mi5 in pursuing their sexual interests in children.

Or were Mi5 really not aware of Savile’s depraved interests (children, dead bodies, psychopaths, coma patients, and the mentally disabled) when they approved and facilitated his contacts senior Politicians and Royalty? Were they crap at their job or was that their job?

    Whoops

Conservative peer Lord James of Blackheath: I’m a money washer, not a money launderer

‘I wrote off more than £1billion of IRA cash’

    Published
    04/11/2010

Conservative peer Lord James of Blackheath has said that he was appointed by the Bank of England to “deal with problems” caused by the laundering of IRA money.

Addressing fellow peers late on Monday night Lord James said:

“I have had one of the biggest experiences in the laundering of terrorist money and funny money that anyone has had in the City. I have handled billions of pounds of terrorist money.”

Labour peer Baroness Hollis of Heigham asked: “Where did it go to?”

Lord James, a respected corporate troubleshooter, replied: “Not into my pocket. My biggest terrorist client was the IRA and I am pleased to say that I managed to write off more than £1billion of its money.

“I have also had extensive connections with north African terrorists, but that was of a far nastier nature, and I do not want to talk about that because it is still a security issue. I hasten to add that it is no good getting the police in, because I shall immediately call the Bank of England as my defence witness, given that it put me in to deal with these problems.”
